I purchased a Smith & Wesson handgun advertised by Cabela's in Fort Worth, Texas as offering a $50 rebate. The rebate was timely mailed the first of January, 2009 to the address on the form: HOLIDAY HANDGUN PROMOTION, P. O. BOX 412, MPS DEPT #525-05, CINNAMINSON, NJ 08077 phone 1-888-426-4650. The rebate coupon said allow 8-10 weeks processing. I called after 10 weeks and was told that my rebate was being processed and it would be another 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. After picking up my belongings, VIP Relocation called to tell me they had weighed my stuff and it weighed 1680 (180 lbs over the estimate which was 1500 lbs). I am stuck with them now. They are stealing from my daily. They do not invoice in a timely manner. See they take 10%. 5% is there's the other 5 is put into reserve. And based on when customer pays I am suppose to get it back. The customers I deal with pay in no more than 45 days and sre approved by them to factor. My story is exactly like everyone else who has tried to earn money with these people. They start out sending you text to edit and ask you to get it back to them the same day. This company is supposed to be an assisted living facility and take care of our elders. It does not do this. They hire lazy care givers that get minimum wage, and only put 2-3 on the staff to cut down on budget, and these people are the ones taking care of our parents. The company advertises a "free trial", and the customer pays just shipping . Once you receive the trial, the packing slip states that you only have use of the trial for 14 days. If you do not want the product you must pay shipping again and cancel a membership that you had no idea you joined in the first place. I purchased a module I was told was required for my self install alarm for my automobile. Within 1 hr I learned they had mistakenly sold me the module and I did not require it for my model of vehicle. Pacific Stereos has a strict No Refund Policy written in fine print on their sales receipt... This is a company that does personal loans. I was approved pending I put $640 down. So I did. Once they received my wire they were to deposit $7000 within 4 hours. Well 4 hours later they called me and said they decided I need to put another $400 down. I advised them I do not have another $400 so therefore I want to cancel the loan and receive my $640 back. Folks Stay away from 25pounds logo or 50pound logo. They take your money and but do not delivered. I received 2 rounds of logo's and they are totally rubbish. With all the frills mentioned on thier webiste they certainly do not match anywhere close.
