I live in a basement apartment. My landlords live upstairs and supply cable tv for the whole house. When I explained to Adelphia that I wanted cable internet connection they said it was no problem to send out two separate bills. Mine consisting of 29.95 for internet only. We recieved a faulty network card from U.s. Robotics. We have spent the last several months trying to resolve the problem. We are unable to speak to anyone other than the supervisor, "Art", who just can't help us. He never returns calls, emails or follows up on the promises that he makes. I ordered a one time purchase of Proactiv in July, 2004. At no time did I sign up for a membership or agree to ongoing additional purchases. In September, 2004, an unauthorized charge was posted to my credit card by Proactiv. I called customer service and they stated that whether I knew it or not, I became a member when I ordered the initial product. I went into Pop Eye Chicken located on Rivers Ave Charleston SC, a couple days ago. The place was filthy. I saw the cooking area, rice and other food was scatterd all over the floor and on the shellf it was nasty. I alway stop at Pop Eye's when ever I can find one, this was the fist popeye that I ever seen in that condition. I always enjoy popeye's food especially the naked chicken. They have a 120 volt current carrying power cord duct taped to the floor to power a display near the customer service area. As a former electrician I say with all certainty that this violates at least one section of the National Electrical Code... and is a very dangerous hazard for customers and employees alike as it is in an area of major traffic. After some research online I have found out that the Los Angeles based company Harmony Gold has not honored their services to other customers. They also trade under robotech.com. Harmony Gold owes my family $1850 for deposits paid and then not returned. Harmony Gold furthermore failed to pay for damge of goods and moving costs. This candy was for my mother, how is suffering from lung cancer. It was for 4 pounds of the Belgium Napeoleon Sour Lemon, which she said helps her dry mouth. I like everyone else who reported this website ordered magazine subscriptions. I should have realized that the price was too good to be true. I have even appealed to my credit card company to no avail. This was a hard and expensive lesson learned. I thought I had done my homework but obviously I did a poor job on that. I received an order number for reference, an email, a phone number in case I had trouble, a confirmation #. My credit card company called me to verify two charges by Square Enix, Play Online. The first charge for $1, then one for $27. I have never heard of this site, nor have I ever visited this site. The customer service person I spoke to explained that the first charge for $1 was to test to see if it would go through before they charged the $27. I am an unhappy customer of this company, Flow Images. The owner Mark is a very good SALES person. He says anything you want to hear when you're about to sign up but when the time comes, he said it's not in the contract - so make sure it's written down! What happened to me was he gave $100 discount on our wedding package. I agreed to switch over to their company once we came to an agreement of how much I would pay for the service. I have been a customer of Xanadoo since August of 2008. I have used the same credit card for my automatic payment since my enrollment. Now it is April 2009, all of a sudden my credit card doesn't pay the bill. Well this would be understandable if I had exceeded my limit on the card or it had expired. Not the issue here. The agent came out and explained all the costs and gave me a fair estimate and even personally boxed a thick glass shelf for me.
