These people are very bad news. Most of the hardware at these stores is low-grade OEM stuff, not proper boxed equipment .. their return policy is garbage, the prices are too high, they will blame you for ANYTHING, even if the product was defective. Their staff is rude and utterly obnoxious. They won't lift a finger to help. They messed up their system by not having the weights of the video cards they sell. Because of this, it took them an extra day to ship out my item. I had paid for 3 day air because I needed by a certain date. We spoke about the mess-up before they shipped. They refused any responsibility in the delay and I was forced to pay an extra $10 to upgrade to 2-day air in order to get my package on the same day. I have applied for internet connection from BayanTel here in Legazpi City two times. The first time I was promised I will be connected in 5 days. It took a total of almost 3 weeks of waiting until I just asked for a full refund. This happened in January. This month I applied again and I was promised I will have it in 3 days. Beware! I tried calling the whole day and can't get anyone.I tried emailing and no reply. I left a message and still no reply. I just tried the live chat and said that i was 2nd on the queue, then 1... stayed there for more than 30 min and kept updating with the same message. I purchased a S1 camera for the price of $2000, I rcvd the product and within 3 wks it failed to work. When I called the store I was told I had purchased an overseas model which they would have to send back to the far east... It is now almost a year, no camera.. no refund.. and impossible to contact! This is in reference to Mr. ScottAS's complaint dated 8/21. This is Brian from the RMA Dept of Gen-X Tech, LLC. Mr. ScottAS bought a K7@ 850combo that is running at 106MHz bus to achieve 850MHz for Gaming optimization. Mr. ScottAS claimed that the combo refused to run at 850MHz but is fine at 100MHz bus for 800MHz. Mr. ScottAS was offered RMA repeatedly but refused to send the combo back in for repair/inspection/replacement. Spent a lot of time on the internet comparing prices. This store had decent low prices. Spent quite a bit more looking up the catalog items I wished to order. Placed order - then a couple days later, they cancelled my entire order with the reason that "an item was no longer in stock". What a waste of time. Howdy, its been i while. my last post for this company was positive. after that positive post, everything went to hell. the asus mobo they gave had the voltage jumpers switched from auto detect to 2.0v. their tech is a complete moron. eventually my mobo and athlon burnt up. sent the mobo back to gctech, it took over a month to get my stuff back, they sent my a crappier motherboard, and took another month to refund the difference. also my cdrom burned up, got a new one, burnt up again last month, oh well. all i have to say is beware of the company. and yes, gilbert is still a idiot. read full review »

I ordered a Sony DCRDVD200 Camcorder on Mar.18, and received a confirmation via e-mail next day, on Mar.19. I was satisfied with that response, but called them anyway the same day for cofirmation of that order and expected delivery time. I waited ~20 minutes before I got a representative on the phone, but I'm used to that from other internet merchants, and similar situations (still not good). Conrad Salas-Ding and Frederick Stephen Ding run a FAKE company called SD Global Pilipinas from the Manila Business College in Manila. They are scam artists and frauds. They offer telecommunications services for call centers, boasting capabilities to get very low rates that seem to good to be tru and in the end, they are. Extrememly unhappy with Customer Service. I orded the product on June 26, and the last time I check the item was returned, because it was sent incorrectly. The only way for me to get the product again. Is after I wait another 3 weeks for them to get the product and I pay for another shipping fee, after I have already paid for everything, for the product to be send to me again, which then I have to wait another 3 weeks. This place is a complete scam! Stay away. I placed an order on the 4th and never shipped out till the 10th. Their site clearly states 2-3 days shipping then they email you saying it is 4-7 days after you paid. No phone number or email responses. The shipping costs are somewhat high but I guess you get what you pay for :-). The pad I received was a little scratched when I received it(it came in one of those padded envelopes instead of a box which surprised me a bit)- I immediately emailed their customer service about it and received a prompt reply in a phone call no more than 30 minutes later telling me they'd send me a second one at no cost, and I don't even have to return the first one to them! I ordered and EZ 3in1 the 28th of January. Today, April 24, it still hasn't arrived. Supposedly it was lost in mail. When I first mailed to tell them I thought that had happened, they told me to wait more. I waited almost another month until they decided that they should try and claim the insurance. The company did not respond promptly to emails inquiring about my order. This company repeatedly mentions quick shipping on their ebay site and their web page. I haven't seen any of it. I've never got a response from them other than automated emails telling me that they received my message and someone would get back to me within 24-72 hours. They never have. Stay away from gameasylum.com no matter what the deal you think you are getting. Period. The company is incompetent at best, but is more likely fraudulent and knowingly predatory of unwary bargain hunters. I can draw a couple of conclusions here. Had ordered Nokia HDS-3 Stereo headset from this company in August recieved product on time with no hassles. UPS crushed the box but this was not the merchants fault and the device was not damaged. I ordered 2 more of the same product so I could have spares since I accidentally snagged the earbud of the original and had to repair it. I used Fedex this time for $2 more. Buying experence was'nt bad, but if warranty problems arise WATCH OUT. Got lied to and a run around until asked for RMA to return system. Then said they would ship me parts that might fix my problem but if did'nt I would have to pay return shipping. Finally they said they would send a pick up order on the parts and when they received them they would then send me replacements. I received my frames within a week of placing my order. Although they promised shipment 1-2 days following the order placement, they shipped within 3 days. I did the "free" shipping option which meant USPS Parcel Post. This item arrived within 2 business days. The closest shipping option to that was USPS Priority Mail for $7.99 which takes 2-3 days.
