When TV was free I feel it was ok to watch commercials, someone had to pay. Now in this day and age, we must subscribe to a service that can be expensive. It is killing me that I pay for a premium channel HBO, and get old movies from the 70's 80's 90's etc. These types of older movies are not what I am paying for! I could get them from the Library for free... Who is in charge of the Television Networks that air and monitor shows other than the company themselves. This is a horrible company. Stay away!! I just got a $25 charge on my credit card for a dvd that I reported lost back a year ago with this DVDbarn. We used this company to try and recover data from a physically damaged SD card. We were very saddened when the SD card that had taken over 500 pictures at our wedding rehearsal dinner and during the ceremony/reception was not readable (as it had been readable in the camera to look at the pictures during and right after the ceremony, but was unable to read them when we got home and tried to transfer them to a computer). On July 24, 2001, I ordered 2 books. Finally on August 8, I received my order. However, only 1 book arrived. There was no notice that the other book was unavailable other than the fact that they charged my credit card for the full amount then credited back the differance. Be careful with these guys. I have had two issues with Divineo the last month that required me to deal with customer service. They reply to my emails very quickly but really don't help (might as well be an auto responder for all they are worth.) More recently I placed an order consisting of many items, and was fully expecting it to follow the same pattern. Worst experience on-line in a long time. Ordered and was given a tracking number on Wednesday afternoon with an email that stated if you have a tracking number the package has left their warehouse. So not true. My package did not leave until Monday. I emailed customer service on Friday and they stated it would leave their warehouse that afternoon...again not true. Customer service at DirectDial.com is terrible. They will not get back to you and really provide no helpful service. So if you run into any problems with your purchase, good luck!! You are pretty much left to fix things on your own. DirectDial.com has no return policy, they would not let me exchange an item I had not used yet!
