I have my Verizon land line temporary disconnected for 6 months in which I'm charge bare minimum. My current Verizon Bill has a 19.30 charge from OAN Long Distance Services 1-800-944-0171. I did not give any approval for this service. For years, I use my cell phone for long distance calling. I called OAN and after a lot of ranting and raving on my part, they agreed to take off the charges. I am furious with OAN for getting me so upset. My mother is in a nursing home and I have been trying to get phone service in her room which was already wired for service. It took a week for installation and there was no service after they said it was completed. Yesterday I was told it would be fixed in 24 hours. After 26 hours the phone number was being answered but my mother's phone was still dead. The fiasco with POAA.nl an internet business based in Breda, the Netherlands began in June 2008. I spent quite a lot of money with them 959 euros on light fittings. AT+T bills me for "slammed" services even though I have told them I have not, and will not sign up for any 3rd party services. The AT+T rep says they can't do anything about it because they are required by law to be complicit in any scams and all they can do is collect their fees for the services they provide to the slammers. As of today, I'm still trying to remedy a situation...I got a disposable camera with prepaid developing and postage from Office Depot's website. I followed the directions closely and put my name and address on the camera itself, the slip of paper they return to me, and the envelope going to Clark's labs. Needless to say, it is a lost cause. I was scheduled to have four radiators painted in my home on 10/30/08. On 10/28/08, Nolan Painting called to ask if it was possible to reschedule for 10/29/08. I accommodated their request and was told the painter would arrive at my home between 7:30 - 8:00 AM. I walked in to see if I could: 1) Purchase an Eliptical Machine and 2) See if they would service my existing treadmill and move it to another room in my house. The reason I requested the move it because it needs to be disassembled to fit through a door and they are the ones that delivered it.
