I have been a Hostway customer for years, 6-7 by now. During this time period, 4 or 5 times, their SSH access keeps getting hacked by automated programs. I never use SSH, but when suddenly "My pages" are missing, that is the first thing I look at, the SSH logs, sure enough someone hacked into it. In the past, they have restored the files and I changed the master passwords. About 2 weeks ago, it happened again, again, through SSH. When I realized that Cavalier Long Distance Service was billing me $43.75 through my credit card to 'maintain' my account whether I made long distance calls or not, I called my local carrier, (Verizon), and found they charged nothing if I made no long distance calls, so I had Verizon pull my account from Cavalier. We purchased this sewer drain cleanout machine from Lowe's for $407.95 on May 25, 2004. We have only used the machine five times since then and had significant problems on three of those occasions. According to the literature, it cleans 4" lines up to 100'. What the literature does not say is the machine "eats" cables quicker than my cat consumes a raw shrimp. I received a renewal notice from Gourmet Magazine around June 2008 which I ignored because I no longer wanted the magazine. I then started to receive notices demanding payment of a $15 renewal fee or my credit rating would be ruined. Today I received a notice stating that my account was going to be turned over to a collection agency. I did not renew the magazine and it stoped coming around July 2008. I purchased this extended warranty with my used car. When it came time to use the warranty I was told that they did not agree with the cost of the services performed on my car and would not pay the dealer the amount required to fix the car. Watch out for their upgrade scam. I have Preferred Speaking 9 and bought Naturally Speaking 10. The have a $50 upgrade rebate. The box I bought did not have the same sku as the rebate. People had filed the rebate and we being denied. I called the company and they offered no explanation, just the wrong box. Try to find an eligible box and buy that said the rebate department. On October 22, 2008 my son took his 1999 Honda Civic to Scott's automotive in Lubbock. After inspecting it, they determined that he had a bad engine and his only option was to replace it. They gave him the B&R auto parts name as a place to call for an engine. He called B&R auto parts and they did have an engine available. Florida Fireplace is unethical and does not stand behind their word. Florida Fireplace recommended a Peterson gas ring with electronic controls to convert my brick wood burning fire pit to natural gas. They stated in their written quote that "the Peterson set up is designed (and tested) for your application". First of all, they never answer their phone, so it is almost impossible to talk to someone in person. All you can do is send them an email, and they choose whether to call or email you back. There was a confusion about delivery, and they said they would contact the shipper, and then obviously never did, as the item did not get delivered. They had to ship it out again a week later. Used cooking oil purchased for production of biodiesel was heavily contaminated with degreaser. This contamination created large amounts of gasses and caused swelling of flexitank and extensive damage of shipping container. Also when made into biodiesel, producer reported extensive damage was caused to vehicles engine injectors due to degreaser contamination. I booked an excursion from Shoretrips.com for a cruise I recently took on Voyager of the Seas, (Royal Carribean) leaving Barcelona last month. I am a tenant of Simco management properties located in the Grove City. I have to say this apartment very much lacks proffessionalism. I have two small babies aged between 3 and 4. Today I paid a collection agency for a bill that was never mine just to keep it off my credit rating. I cancelled our service with webhosting on the telephone in August 2007 as they were too difficult to contact and usually had to wait on hold for over a half our at a time just to speak to a customer service representative.
