I strongly recommend against purchasing items from XPCGear.com, based on my current experience. I ordered a Toshiba MK1031GAS 100GB Laptop HDD. XPCGear sent me an invoice and an email confirming that the order was received, and in the process of being shipped. Three days later, I received a phone call from customer service, and the salesman informed me that the model had been discontinued. Do not do busines with this company. 1st - I did not get a confirmation e-mail of my order. I tried to cancel - but I could not find contact infomation until it was to late. I received the product - but at that time I did not want it and this company would not let me return it for a FULL refund. This is the only company that I did not receive a confirmation e-mail ordering on the internet. Finally - the product does not work at all.. I was in the Target in Mesquite trying on clothes and the security guard that was working at that time kept coming back to the fitting room and just standing there. I bought a battery for Checker about a year ago and it went bad on me. I called the store where I had purchused it. They told me that it was still under the free replacement. I drove down to the store for the free replacment, when I got there they told me that it was no longer under the free replacment, just the regular pro rate. I added $25 on 10/06/2008 to phone 304-272-6914. Two calls were made, one on 10/06/2008, which was disconnected before the end of the 15 minutes usually allowed. The second one was made on 10/07/2008 with and only lasted about 7 minutes when it was disconnected. No other calls went through, yet the balance of $21 fell to $11 without any service being used. I spoke with a rep, and he indicated there were several calls made. I explained that this was inaccurate, as only two calls went through. My home furniture/items and car were picked on June 14. 2008 My car was delivered two days later and had paid them a total of $1, 100 this amount included my deposit of $700.00. My furnitures had a delivery date of June 28th. Never heard from the driver until the first week of July and I was adviced that there were running late because they were still in DFW. During my relocation from Ontario to Alberta, my Ontario attorney sent important mortgage documents (signed by my wife, who hasn't moved yet) by UPS courier to my Alberta attorney for overnight delivery. Additionla Biz, charged me $3995.00 for advertising of a website before I read and signed the contract. After reading the contract it was not what they said things would be. A different rate of commissions; I was told 15% but it is really 4% BIG DIFFERENCE, Which I have not sold a thing on my website in the 30 days it has been up. Hi, I do not have a business although I was thinking about having one from home working online. The company was online biz or business. I paid a one time fee of $1.95 and later charged $39.85 to my credit card which I did not authorize. Then again they charged my card with $129.85. I called to dispute these charges. They said ok and I thought it was over until the $129.85 appeared on my card. They were very rude and finally they cancelled. I want them to credit my card since I cancelled. They sell these Chinese Made ATV's and offer no service centers to take care of the warranty. They expect you the owner of the ATV to figure out what is wrong. if you have a problem with the ATV and send in the part and they will replace it. That is a joke. You will wear yourseft down trying to get something done. They have no repair centers to take care of the warranty problems. I purchased a trial for 5.95. It states that they will charge 88.00 after 15 days. I bought it on September 26th and on Oct 6th they withdrew 88.00. They also sent me-without my asking a bottle of "Total Cleanse" and said if I did not send it back they will charge 78.00 to my account. So, it is not a "Free Trial" and they take the money faster than you can send anything back. There is a consistent pattern of the price that is scanned at the register being higher than the posted price on the shelf. Another problem at this store is the attitude of most of the checkers. They are very rude and even insolent at times. Waiting on the customer seems to be a bother to most of them. I was sent an e-mail stating that I enrolled in a Platinum Member program. I was given a link to sign on with a name and password. I attempted to sign on to the link with the information given in the e-mail to see what it was. I checked my checking account today and a fee of 49.95 has been withdrawn from my account for Fortress Secured Inc. I've never heard of this business before nor have I singed up for their service. An inexperienced web designer/marketer drags you along having you buy other services or products they insist you need to continue and to optimize your website properly. I'm so tired of the paper chasing/denial of claims/long button pushing waits for customer service only to get the same answer--"Well, that's what your plan covers---sucker". We pay nearly $800/month for a coverage that essentially doesn't even help with preventative care. Anthem finds every loophole in the book to deny coverage. I have had my doc check ahead of time before sending out bloodwork, and Anthem denies it, because they sent it out. In less than a year our heater failed. They had the nerve to blame it on "water chemistry" and would not honor the warranty. Our water had good levels of everything, was clear, no issues, etc. These people called us every 2 days for a month trying to sell it to us, then left us in the cold (literally) when it broke. Oh... even if the heater was covered, we were going to have to pay at least $115 for a service visit from their authorized repair company in my area. These people keep charging my credit card for this supposed make money from Amazon.com internet solicitation which I never wanted, used, asked for, or signed up for. First they charged a small amount, $1.95 then later $39.85. I called and argued and they won't remove the charges and then said they'd cancel my account and to try the site until next month. I contacted exoticsportbike.com via email because they do not answer the customer service line. The only answer I received stated that my order had been received. Today I called the sales line and yes exoticsportbike.com answered right away but after hearing that I was checking on an order status I was put on hold for ten more minutes. I didn't hear from them for 114 days regarding the contract they supposedly had on my timeshare. I started calling them with no results. Big City Movers provided a very poor service and neglected to move the most cumbersome pieces of furniture. My relatives had to help the following day because Big City Movers said that the furniture would not fit in our home. They were completely WRONG!!!
