I am member of Asia Miles linked with Cathay Pacific Air mileage program since 2001. These interlinked companies are located in China. I was recently traveling by Kingfisher Airline to Bangalore as I was really surprised as to how snobbish their crew was. It took me four attempts to ask the crew for a glass of water, the crew were not at all busy and I could see them chit chatting away to glory in the rear of the aircraft, after much fuss, I was given a glass of water as if I was given some alms. When I asked for a feedback form, I was denied for that as well. I was told three times leading up to the night of August 14th that I could cancel and my credit card would be refunded. Travel Guard insurance was included with a travel package I purchased. My flight was delayed causing me to miss a foreign connection until the next day. I filed for compensation with Travel Guard on return from my trip. Three months later I got a call saying my claim was invalid because the airline was at fault. They said that I could write a letter and include receipts and I may still have a claim. I already had to get documentation from several places including the airline and didn't feel that I needed to jump thru more hoops. I think that this is their plan to wear you down and give up. My husband and I took our two wonderful young grandsons on vacation, as we do every year, (its their special vacation for being in school) and we stayed at the DAYS INN, just off the strip. Our stay at the Quality Inn Hotel and Suites (Newburgh, PA) was the worst hotel stay of my life! There was continues dripping water in the shower and a temporary A/C unit, that needed the water emptied every 4 hours not to mention the dirty room. read full review »

This is regarding my experience with a travel agent Deepa Travels in Adyar, Chennai. I approached them to book tickets for me and family to London and back and also to forward our Visa applications for process. I was hospitalized for a disability that disabled me to perform my job duties, I was told that I would not loose my job because of my hospitalization, after I was discharged from the hospital that was not the case. The unfair thing about it is that another front desk clerk fired me and there was not a real reason present as to why I was fired and above else the manager did not even know about me being fired and she did not have an explanation as well. NCL is the only line I know of that now x-rays all checked baggage looking for alcohol. We had one bottle of special wine in my bag to celebrate an anniversary. They held my bag until I paid a $15 ransome. Our balcony room was tiny and the balcony itself was postage stamp size. Very much not worth all the extra cost. Our experience was that "Freestyle cruising" means lack of organization and personal service, long waiting lines, and extra charges for everything possible. Never again. read full review »

I am regularly traveling abroad. I am a seaman and holding a valid seaman book with me. Whenever I was traveling thru Thiruvananthapuram airport, I was facing big trouble with the emigration officers. Even I was holding the seaman book and copy of valid visa, they never accept it. Have you ever heard of losing you deeded week even after you have paid for the yearly maintenance fee as well as the collection fee (another 50%)? Does this sound reasonable? I stayed at a quality in where the halls were dirty, rooms to maintenance were open and visible, the pool was dirty, little to poor maintenance visible in pool area, the breakfast area was poorly staffed, not clean, and overall just sub standard for close to $100 per night. I was scheduled to fly Jet Blue FLT 174 from San Jose to New York on Sep 1, 2006 at 10:35pm. I recently stayed at the Beau Rivage Motor Inn, located at 9601 Atlantic Ave. Wildwood Crest, NJ. Two days after I returned home there was another charge to my debit card for $100.00.
