On Friday, 28 August 2009, I travelled on SA Express to Bloemfontein and back. Initially when checking in, the initial boarding passes (both) indicated window seats. As I am in a wheelchair, I had to go back and query why I was given window seats due to difficulty getting to the seat. My boarding passes were then changed to aisle seats. On my flight to Bloem, I sat in the aisle seat.

Was contacted from Global Vacations to sit on a two hour seminar to receive a free 8 night 7 day cruise. We arrived at Del Rey travel in Valencia, we were greeted kindly and they attended to us right away. Shortly after the presentation, we sat back down at our table. RCI Cruise
I can't believe I was so stupid to pay for a certificate up front. I paid almost $4, 000 to RCI and now they're telling me I have to pay more to take the cruise. They changed it, told me the ship wasn't going their afterall, and I would have to book another one and pay a $700 change fee and an administrative fee because I had an early booking rate.
What kind of a scam is that? It is a Wyndham Skinned 'em scam. I am astonished people are still buying stuff from Wyndham, Fairfield, RCI, and their gang. read full review »

I have paid for a nights accommodation (deducted from my visa card) and not received a booking confirmation.
When I searched for the booking on their web site it was not there.
Their only answer to my query sent in via their customer support link was to say I could not cancel... fine... I just want the confirmation so I can use the booking..
What does one do next to get a confirmation?

Protea hotel wanderers was chosen to host a client, proof of payment was fprwarded, the client wished to pay but the receptionsit insisted it was paid for, a month later I'm contacted with the hassle of sending proof and the humiliation of asking they payer a month later and the humiliation of the hotel pestering the client. now it was the hotels job to tell him on checking out where they insisted that no further payment must be made. You need to go to forvacationers.com and enter your reservation number which starts with KK and your password which is the last 5 digits of your creditcard you used to purchase vacation. It is NOT a timeshare. I work for the company and they have been in business for 15 years. It's real. It's a 3day/2night cruise for 2 people. As stated above we were returning from a wedding in Vegas and my husband and I each had 1 checked suitcase locked with a TSA lock and not carry-on's with the exception of my purse. I called Expedia (to avoid the web site) and spoke to a human representative. The human spelled my name wrong on the ticket (their error) so the ticket was not usable (you cannot board a plane if the name on the boarding pass does not match the name on your ID). I went to hotel Melia / Sol Melia in Dominican Republic. The service was poor. But when I finally left a few days later I received unauthorized charges on my credit card. After a lot of calls to the credit card company and such I discovered the credit card had been cloned. Cannot recommend Melia.

Please be advised to avoid Bucoleon Palace Hotel, in Istanbul, Turkey, at all costs. There are many other hotels in Istanbul that you can check out.
I stayed here over the summer and had scheduled to stay for 2 nights, but upon the 1st morning I got sick shortly after breakfast. I started throwing up in my room less than an hour later and continued to throw up 6 times over the next 2 hours with the worse stomach pain I have had in at least 5 years.

I ahve been a Palace Premier (VIP) member for two years now. Every single time I try to book hotels i have another hasle and misinformation. When I try to discuss these problems with the reservation folks in florida, all I get is attitude and no help at all. If it is not on the script in front of them it doesn't exist. Go to the member services? Ha...they switch me to reservations.

AARP?Expedia offer hotels at lower cost. This is far from the experience we had on a trip out west. We booked a room in Vernal, UT (the Landmark Inn - an excellent hotel/motel) several weeks before our trip. Our credit card was charged 131.98 including tax for one night. When we arrived at the hotel their sign advertised rooms at $65 single. The account that we were handed by the hotel was for $92.96 including tax for the room. Just wanted to back up previous complaints on Marriot reservation(s) for timeshares at Newport Coast.
It is ridiculous to try to book a week in the summer. After paying a large amount for the time share, each year you have to pay maintenence and taxes which is about 1400. Then if you try to book a week June through September you have to wake up at 5 Am in my time zone one year ahead to try to get a week. Good luck with that because the odds of that are slim and none. Do not book your next hotel using www.centralr.com. They have hidden cancellation charges. We booked hotel Terramar in Sitges, Spain almost 6 weeks in advance and canceled it (based on bad reviews) two days after the booking. CentralR.com charged our credit card for one night stay immediately (less than 5 minutes) after we canceled. The hotel looked pleasent from web and actually there, from the outdoors. Entering the building, the staff checked me and my family in and sent us off to find our room. I walked the corridors, sticking to the carpets and stair rails until my room came in to view, seeing a large dint in the door, resembling a punch. I had a very very bad experience with Nexus Holiday Chicago. I had canceled 4 tickets to Beijing of China booked with them due to AA delayed the flight schedule on May 2010. But the said amount of refund for the cancellation was never credited to my account. No matter of repeated mails and calls to customer care, but the company has failed to give me a satisfactory reply. This company is really a crap.Do NOT ever ever give money to this company, they are fraud, they don’t provide services that you expected or paid for... Hotel caters to loud boisterous, drunken nightcluber. Fire alarm woke us up twice and we had to run down 4 flights of dangerous crowded stairs to find that the drunks set off the alarm. Yet my daughte on the 9th floor never heard the alarms. If it had been a fire, noone on the upper level would have been saved! The reception seemed unconcerned.
