When I was a member of E-harmony more than 95% of the men they matched me up with lived at least 1000 miles away from me and the few who lived less than 200 miles away (whom I could count on one hand) closed me out. I am complaining about the program Reg Cure for ParetoLogic. I was directed onto this as a FREE program. I ran it, it miraculously found 100's of errors on my system, errors my comprehensive Anti Virus Package had not even had a sniff of. When I visited this site there was an offer to provide information for $1.87. Several days later, my debit card was charged $59.95 which is a recurring fee! I promptly called Auction Monster and was told by a representative that I signed up for "information" and the $59.95 would be a recurring charge. I don't know the whole story here yet, but when this showed up on my account. I looked into it and notified Orchard Bank that it was a known fraud. It is now listed on my account. The number was called on 02/01/2008 and I was told I would get a reversal and credit. I too have been scammed by this company. They have charged my credit card in the amount of 99.61 for no apparent reason. I did not dispute this charge with the credit card company within the required 60 days and therefore they say they cannot help me. This company offered a pdf editor that does not work. It crashes every time you try to edit a pdf. There was supposed to be a 7 day trial. I canceled the "membership" within 7 minutes. They have only a helpdesk ticket system where you can submit complaints. They hem and haw and won't cancel the account.
