I keep getting calls from man with foreign voice saying "This is not a sales call, but only a survey...Do you have smoke detectors in your house?" I probably got about 6-7 calls within the last 6-7 weeks. I never give them an answer, and I asked them to take me off their call lists more than one. He said that he was calling because I had requested information about his company on the internet. That is pure fabrication. I had quite a talk with the phone solicitor about calling at 10:00 pm and the do not call list. She would not give me the name of the company, but it came through on caller ID. She said her name was Telany Davis, but I doubt that is correct. After I demanded to know who was the company she was working for she hung up. I raged for several minutes. This is a fraudulent online company. I went to what appeared to be a legit CA DMV website, and this website was the company that was directly linked to it. I was trying to order my CA DMV driving records. The site looks very professional. They will ask for your personal information to be faxed (of course I did not fax it) but they charged my credit card the 25 dollars for the document I was ordering. Rolando Gomez runs the site. At the beginning when I paid $100 for lifetime membership I was able to upload photos. The site allows you to upload photos if you have a lifetime membership. The site has undergone a number of changes and upgrades. After these changes and upgrades I can no longer upload photos. I have talked about it on the site. I have contacted Rolando Gomez and he says he can't do anything. Mobiles.co.uk is the worst company I have EVER experienced in my life! Upon adopting a 3 mo. old kitten from the local shelter, I took him for his first visit to the VCA vet close to my home. All was well even after his first shot, until they used what seemed like an airgun for his second shot. It was really loud and even made me jump. It also made his tiny leg bleed a lot. I took my car in for a normal oil change and found when I received my car back that a $100 visa gift card was taken out of my glove box. I reported this to the service advisor as soon as I checked the car over and asked why someone had to go into my glove box for an oil change. I was told that they inspect the car for anything that needs to be replaced. I just paid for a one year subscription to this magazine. After one issue I was sent a letter that they are stopping publication with the next issue. They should not have accepted my 1 year subscription if they were going to stop publication the next month. They are still advertizing subscriptions at their web site. Beware of this magazine. I paid for a years subscription and got one issue. As far as I can find, there are no other magazines in print to cover motor scooters and mopeds. Is this common for today's magazine industry? Spa cover failed in 4 months. Apparently some kind of air or gas is trapped within the plastic sheeting around the core causing the cover to bulge in hot weather. They refused to discuss our warranty claim on the phone-they require you to use email only. I purchased a Twist a Dent which is distributed by Natures Pillows in Trevose, PA. The product is supposed to remove small dents/bumps from a car. The contents included a pulling bridge, wingnut, hot glue gun, dent pulling tabs, glue & a cleaning solution. You apply the hot glue to the pulling tab and place it in the middle of the bridge and tighten the wingnut.The dent/bump is supposed to pop out. I purchased a car from 4 Front car sales last year and had problems within a few minutes of driving out the forecourt. My wife went there for about four visits and took my kids there for an adjustment as well. They ask, when you are a patient there (especially since there were three of them) if you would like to "sit in their chair". What they don't tell you is they charge you exorbitantly to sit in their message chair and bill it as a "treatment". It is posed as you can sit here and get comfortable until we get to you. I wanted to use my Visa Debit card for a purchase because I didnt have cash on me at the time. They said that the minimun charge had to be $10. I know this is illegal but I didnt say anything to the employee. I then had to go to the ATM and get cash but then had to pay to use the ATM ($3 at the ATM and then $2 from my bank).
