I bank at the mandevville branch of Am South and while I was out of town I used my debit card. When I returned I checked to see if all my bills were taken care of so I could withdraw my money without any over draft fees. Well the girl at the bank was new and she told me it would be alright to take my money out that everything had cleared from my vacation. The next thing I knew was that they were calling me and saying I had two overdrafts and that they had to take my money!!!

I took out a $2,000 loan from "Think Cash" - an on-line loan business. Part of their agreement is that they send you e-mail reminders of when payments are due. For the first two months they did. I have reimbursed them ON TIME.
They recently STOPPED sending reminders... as they agreed... and money is taken from the account. They are not reliable and it has cost me more money than I ever expected. DO NOT utilize THINK CASH. read full review »

This all started 3 months ago when me and my wife went to Finger Furniture to purchase a new bedroom set. Once we found a set we liked the salesman informed us that only two pieces were in stock and the other 3 would be available for delivery in about one month. The practice of buy now pay never using no account checks bearing fake social security numbers is happening at banks in the midwest. The banks pass the loss on too paying customers in higher fees and interest. The Inspector General's office for fraud says happens all the time, is illegal, but rarely prosecuted.

I ordered my wedding dress, my mother's dress and my bridesmaid dresses. We made our bridesmaid order in Feb. My wedding date is June 16th. Our ship date was for the first week of May. On 5/7/07 I called the dealership and was asked if I wanted to make a $500 down payment, which I did. After three phone calls, it was disclosed that the price of the cars is $22,091. I live in Brooklyn, NY, maybe not Sears country. I have a warranty on a Kenmore water heater. It failed on Sunday, May 6, 2007, after 13 years, quite reasonably. I called the number on the warranty, which is the same as the number on the website. I had an appointment for 8-12 am on Monday, May 7, but nobody showed up. I tried to find this item on the website, but the connection appeared to be down all day. Have tried to get Truegreen out to my place now for two weeks. They have made alot of promises and never showed up. They even sent me a bill for over 1000.00 for the whole year and was going to charge me double of what they had quoted me. I called them up and gave them a second chance, they even flubbed that up. Looked online for local florist in Dallas, Texas and e-florist came up. I ordered the flower from them and got the confirmation/invoice with the total of $100.29. I got the credit card statement today but they charged us $112.34 which is $12 higher than original invoice. On June 8, 2007, EDP withdrew $159.95 from a special checking account that only I have authority to use but fore my disabled daughter's expenses. I have discovered she went online with the premise of rebuilding her credit, she thought she canceled but a month later they took money. I am hoping that someone can help me in finding out if a class action lawsuit is the way to go. We built a new house last May (2006) and had a large amount of Pergo Accolade installed. Immediately upon moving in the floor began "cricking" and "snapping". I recently purchased a Lexus RX300 that now has 85,000 miles on it. Just last week the transmission went out. Aren't Lexus' supposed to be dependable and last longer than many of the vehicles out there? I was told by two individual mechanics and by Lexus of Reno, that it is uncommon for the transmission to go out on a Lexus (a $40,000 vehicle!!!) this soon. The extended warrantees at Staples are worthless. I purchased an Acer laptop there about a year and a half ago (buying an Acer was my first mistake). Within the year, the screen went. I actually bought health insurance from consumer health benefits and they ripped me off 259.95 they never sent me a package with a member number or anything they told me there is a no refund policy and i lost my money. Now anyone who knows about health insurance knows you have 30 days to cancel and get your money back , the better business bureau says they don't exist. I used to be able to get addresses, internet addresses and phone numbers free from several lookup services. Ordered a blimp with remote camera, no way could the blimp fly carrying the camera which needs a battery plugged into it, that I tolerated, but the camera did not work, when asked for a replacement, received responses, need your order number, kept sending it, it was like a canned email response, no satisfaction.

We recently bought Nafco / Domco vinyl strips and laid them in our bathroom. When we purchased the strips, the person where we purchased them from ask what type of floor we had down and I told him solarium. He said it would be ok to lay the strips over our existing floor.
He did not have the glue recommended on the box but sold us SAFOT 380. We used the 1/16" X 1/16" X 1/16" trowl so we would not get the glue too thick. That has been two weeks ago and the floor feels tacky and glue continues to come up through the cracks. We... read full review »
