Well like many others I too was scammed by these predators. Thank god I resisted their $8,000 club purchase FULL COURT PRESS, but I am out the $100.00 deposit and the free gas. We purchased the washing machine/dryer set in Dec. 2000 and have had nothing but problems with the washer. The pump was replaced twice during the first two years of owning it and then it broke a THIRD time and I threw a fit and demanded they replace my machine which they did. I got an e-mail from Sirius about renewing my satellite radio subscription. I called the number for renewal and waited on hold for 45 minutes! Then, the line went dead and I got a dial tone. I called back at a different time and gave up after a 20 minute wait. I tried to reach their tech. support and got a recording saying "no one is available--call back." I finally left them an e-mail and someone contacted me and eventually resolved the problem. I put my prescription in on 12/14/06 in order to get 2006 rates on my insurance. Today is 1/9/07 and I still have not received it. I have had several people on the phone tell me it is in processing and it is on the way and I still am without my insulin. Because I have called so often Walgreen's has grown tired of my telephone calls and has put the fault on me. My insurance company will not do anything because they say Walgreen's is at fault. My family has been a member of this organization since 1983 and never had a problem up until this last summer. We have always enjoyed our time here but, this last summer there was an altercation that rescinded our membership and i feel that we were victimized by not only acting "security" but also by management. I believe Ocwen bank overcharged me thousands of dollars in junk fees, overcharging for escrow, and interest. They refuse to verify charges and then allegedly you are behind and during the request for account information. they allegedly assigned the loan to LaSalle Bank trustees of a 1998 R-1 pass-through certificate.(what ever that is, some kind of security). I received a collections notice from Afni, Inc., also Afni Collections stating that I owed Verizon Communications a bill for an outrageous amount of $637.25. I only owe Verizon for my current phone service. Verizon stated that I only owe for my current bill. I have never at anytime ever owed Verizon this amount. So I got this letter in the mail today from Canada. Inside was a check for 3,000$ and a letter claiming I had won 52,000. I figured it was fake but the check looked extremely authentic. I filed a complaint with the BBB against a BBB member, Palm Harbor Homes; and the BBB closed my case due to the Palm Harbor sales manger lieing to them and telling them my house was completed when it was not. I ordered a storm door. I said, per their instructions, standing inside looking out my current storm door has hinges on the right. They sent me a door which had hinges on the left. Galaxy is an EXTREMELY slimy operation. The coordinator, Lee, seems very nice when she wants something. But then once they have your money... They will threaten not to deliver your belongings. Not too long ago a package was delivered to my old apt by UPS. (Lake Point Apts “Off Ablemarle Rd.” Charlotte NC). I left a forwarding address and phone number prior to moving. Evil eBay scammer. They did not respond to repeated emails or calls a month after they recieved payment. Since it was a small purchase, eBay wouldn't do anything to help in the dispute process. Had to file a report with the US Postal Inspection Service in order to get any results. Things I've learned from dealing with this eBay scammer: Look up their home number on 411.com. My brand new Gold Saturn SC1 was purchased in 1996. At 22,000 miles the car needed 4 days of serious engine work to replace the head gasket and other vital parts. At the time I was shocked, I just sold a Toyota Corolla with 100K miles on it and it ran great.
