My mother-in-law reserved a car through the internet with Travelvelocity through Car Rental Express. She was given a confirmation number with Autorent - San Diego. I was in the Hardees in Rushville, IL yesterday and it was so hot in there we had to leave. I was told the air conditioner had been broken for approximately a week. It could not be fixed because the person in charge was on vacation and no one else was authorized to call for repair. It would not be fixed until this person returned. This is too stupid for words. Someone should be appointed to handle emergencies in the absence of boss, manager, etc. I live in Rushville, but I won't return until cool weather, if then. I placed and order on June 28, 2007 with Expert Appliance for a natural gas to LP conversion kit for a Luxaire furnace I own. I went to their website, entered my furnace model number and selected the part I needed from the parts they had listed and the total for the part was $215.71 after the $10.00 rebate for paying with an online check. In 2005, I met with Ruth Moore to purchase gowns from her and be trained in how to open and run a bridal store. She said we could get every dress manufacturer from her and that she had a network of other stores she helped across the nation. She was located in Medford, MN and I was in Florida. She seemed legitimate until I could not get a hold of her or my gown orders. To this day I still of never heard from her. I know of several other girls that this happened to. DO NOT EVER BUY A MAYTAG APPLIANCE!! Their customer Service is the worst experience ever. My wife and I purchased a new side by side refrigerator. The compressor broke 1 1/2 weeks after the warranty expired. Me and my wife were at sonic today 07/23/2007. Just waiting at the drive to place an order. You know (fast food) for about 6 minutes and never got the call over the little box. 3 Three people behind us waited and then just left. I have a 2002 BMW 330i convertible. Yesterday (7/20/2007) I was driving on an expressway in Baltimore, Md when my car stalled. After 1 hour and 40 minutes on hold to Maytag's 800 number. I did get a chance to talk top a real person concerning the 06 Maytag costly refrigerator. PROBLEM defective main circuit board (made in China). This circuit board controls all functions on this refrigerator. I have had the absolutely worst experience at the CVS pharmacy in Montvale. I called the automated phone line to renew my prescription, then followed up with a phone call. I was assured by the pharmacy that my prescription was there. I purchased a MAYTAG window air conditioner on line from Home Depot - they shipped me a Fedders which is okay BUT!!! The Fedders was made in 2005 - it was an old one and had to have the internal panel replaced in one month. I could of returned it to the store (they shipped free but refused to pick it up) however I was out my installation charge. I could get through to no one one this complaint - they were insulting. On 5/6 I made the mistake of ordering Pella French doors from Lowes. 3 weeks later when the doors arrived the hardware (handles) were not included. This morning I went to 3 Walgreens stores in Decatur, IL looking for the new release DVD Flushed Away which was advertised for release on Feb 20 (today). About 15 months ago I bought a Riccar vacuum cleaner. Within a few months the motor burned out and the dust brush holder fell off. The vacuum cleaner store replaced the motor.
