This is the first time that I have encountered a mortgage company that calls daily after the 1st of the month to ask when they can expect my payment. The payment is due between the 1st and the 16th but by the 2nd, they are calling. In the past, I have dealt with Ameriquest and Countrywide and never had anyone call to find out when or if a payment should be expected. Did not know what it was for, and neglected to verify why it was being charged. Tried to contact the 800 number and have tried for 7 business days in a row. We were given a credit line of 1000.00 and no annual fees along with bonus miles. We have a Maytag refrigerator that is only two years old; it is under warranty so Maytag sent A&E Factory Service to fix it. On 22 June the technician determined there was a Freon leak, refill the line and told me to call 800 905 9505 if the unit stopped cooling again within 30 days. My mother-in-law reserved a car through the internet with Travelvelocity through Car Rental Express. She was given a confirmation number with Autorent - San Diego. When she arrived at the Autorent office on 3346 Kettner Blvd in San Diego, she was told that Autorent did not have any cars, but that she could, literally, go to the next door in the building to Payless Car Rental where they would honor her Reservation. I took a 3-year subscription of India Today Travel Plus in December 2005 but the first communication from them required 3 email reminders and 7 weeks. The free gift was delayed by 6 months, and the issues have been consistently late or missing. In fact, I have not received a single issue this year (2007) so far, till date, without multiple email reminders and follow ups regarding the same. About 15 months ago I bought a Riccar vacuum cleaner. Within a few months the motor burned out and the dust brush holder fell off. The vacuum cleaner store replaced the motor. In 2005, I met with Ruth Moore to purchase gowns from her and be trained in how to open and run a bridal store. She said we could get every dress manufacturer from her and that she had a network of other stores she helped across the nation. She was located in Medford, MN and I was in Florida. DO NOT EVER BUY A MAYTAG APPLIANCE!! Their customer Service is the worst experience ever. My wife and I purchased a new side by side refrigerator. The compressor broke 1 1/2 weeks after the warranty expired.
