Two years ago I purchased a Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner and a 70-pint dehumidifier. I got lucky, the vacuum cleaner died within a few months and it was covered under warranty. However, the dehumidifier lasted two whole seasons (it doesn't even run all year). I took it in to the parts place and they want $120 to fix it. Four years ago we purchased a Samsung wide screen HD television from Sears in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Last year the color convergence went out making it impossible to adjust the color which had gone crazy. This letter is a complaint about the SST/Providian credit card. I have never dealt with such an obnoxious, rude customer service department in all my credit history! When I told them I was paying off and closing the account, I was told the amount on the statement was not the amount due--I would have to pay an extra $113 in finance charges to close the account! I guess it is typical for propane dealers not to send out bills. When they make a delivery, they leave a bill and you are expected to pay it in a timely fashion. Ok idea, although i am used to dealing with a utility company that bills monthly for usage, but that's my problem... Having said that, we added a gas dryer to our house in march. Mohave County Pools ans Spas of Lake Havasu City Arizona is a big mistake. Do yourself a favor, don't choose them. Their management is terrible, they have had changes in the office and they are horrible. Poor follow up, you nearly have to pull teeth in order to get any updates out of them. They haven't made any schedule or deadline that they have promised and are three months behind schedule on the build of our pool. Our backyard does not match the pictures. My friends and I attended the Chocolate Buffet. I have to say that I was disappointed. I expected more from the Ritz-Carlton. Our waitress was very nice, but after our first drink order, she disappeared. After using the buffet once, the trays were empty. They were not replaced or refilled to keep up with the number of people who were using the Chocolate Buffet. We had to stand in line for twenty minutes waiting to have a crepe made, or should I say reheated, as they were not made fresh as I would expect from the Ritz. I took a 3-year subscription of India Today Travel Plus in December 2005 but the first communication from them required 3 email reminders and 7 weeks. The free gift was delayed by 6 months, and the issues have been consistently late or missing. In fact, I have not received a single issue this year (2007) so far, till date, without multiple email reminders and follow ups regarding the same. We have a Maytag refrigerator that is only two years old; it is under warranty so Maytag sent A&E Factory Service to fix it.
