I have been a Popular Club Secretary for over 25 years and never thought that I would be writing this complaint for a company that I have done so much business with for almost half my life. I have now found out that Popular Club has declared bankruptcy. They have cheated all their Club Secretaries and Club Members out of Rewards they have earned through their orders and have not reimbursed any of them. They get thier information from anyone who has ever requested a payday or cash advance loan online. As soon as you enter you checking account info they somehow get it from that. Don't waste time talking to them...go right to your bank and sign an affidavit claiming you did not sign up with them. File a complaint locally with your Stats Attorney and the Northern Nevada BBB(where Platnium is located). Beware...the "supervisor" at platnium claimed they have my IP address that I signed up with. I ordered furniture from Baers in April 2006. When the furniture was delivered it was damaged. When I pointed this out to the delivery people, I was told to just call the store and they would arrange to exchange the furniture. When I called the store they glady arranged to order new furniture and I believe I was told it would take 6 weeks for the furniture to come in. I received an offer from this company for a free 10-day trial of their ID theft protection services. They offered me $200 in Target gift card vouchers if I tried it out, and I agreed. This website is a scam. The winning bidders are internal and as I was watching and bidding, this became more clear. If an item ended with someone who was not internal, the site would turn the bidding back on just long enough for one bid (no one else could bid), and then it would end with the same people winning each time. This company advertises top B2B sales positionls on websites such as Monster.com. I was one of the suckers that actually called them only to find out that they are posing as a recruiter. They say that they represent thousands of employers with thousands of jobs available. I agreed to let them charge my credit card $37 so I could view these jobs. It only get worse from there! I recieved my credit card statement and they charged me a total of $97 which was never authorized. This company does not offer any service that you need.
