DO NOT PURCHASE GE appliances. They are nothing but aggravation. I purchased all new GE appliances when we built our house 5 years ago. The refrigerator was broken and 8 visits later from the service tech finally resolved the issue after I had researched the issue myself and found the part that needed to be replaced. Cashier was friendly, food was great, but... for the second time in two visits and with only two people in front of me, I waited in line for 15 minutes because there was only ONE cashier. The manager was too busy to talk to me becuase she was "the only cook". The school is a complete joke. The owner is a con-artist. Sure he will take things on trade for the classes, but everything is worth nothing to him. The instructors are complete morons. We signed up for the Dish Network contract for 24 mos. We made a move and called them to have the one free move to set up our satellite. The tec came out and told my husband he would have to cut a tree down and trim another for the Dish line of sight. My husband suggested that he could install it on his shop 15 ft from the house...the tec said he couldn't do it because he would have to dig a trench to the house. I have been a Popular Club Secretary for over 25 years and never thought that I would be writing this complaint for a company that I have done so much business with for almost half my life. I have now found out that Popular Club has declared bankruptcy. They get thier information from anyone who has ever requested a payday or cash advance loan online. As soon as you enter you checking account info they somehow get it from that. Don't waste time talking to them...go right to your bank and sign an affidavit claiming you did not sign up with them. I ordered furniture from Baers in April 2006. When the furniture was delivered it was damaged. When I pointed this out to the delivery people, I was told to just call the store and they would arrange to exchange the furniture.
