I tried to get out of my contract last year, so I paid $344 to get out at 30 months of my 36 month contract. Now, they say I didn't cancel correcly and have to pay the final 6 months. WHY WOULD I PAY UP FRONT $344 IF I WASN'T CANCELLING!?!? I asked the supervisors if the employee that cancelled my account was still working for them, and she is not. Go figure. Those folks seem to lack any sense of consumer relations. After paying for a maintenance program online, I never received a license in key -- so I'm unable to use the product. My emails to "Support" requesting a key have been totally ignored. There seems to be no support available. The company is either selling vaporware or trying to retail products with little or no follow-up. I'm wondering what type of watchdog service might be able to put the brakes upon this type of outfit. I have (or had) a best buy HSBC credit card. I never made a late payment and or ever missed a payment. I had a 3500. available credit line. Last week I paid off in full my small balance on the card. Today i went into best buy to purchase a new lcd tv. My credit card was denied, while i was in the store i called HSBC. I went to Z Galleries in Dallas, TX on 10/31/09. They have a very nice LOOKING store & I bought a few items totally about $120. I used a Master card. When my bill arrived I realized this store charged my credit card an EXTRA $216 & when I reported the error to customer service (after 20 minues on HOLD) they kept telling me they would check into it & call me back. Dell has charged back over $780.00 in deferred finance charges after the promotional period runs out when you still have a balance. Which you cannot pay-off through the normal payment options. They put most of your payment toward other purchases then the promotional plan balance get the smaller of the payment split. Isn't this illegal? Now I owe finance charges on finance charges.
