I placed an order for a boxed set of DVDs with Fox Anime on August 5th, 2009. I have contacted them via email (their only method of contact) exactly 12 times. Today is November 6th, 2009. I still have not received the DVDs I ordered, or a refund of the funds charged. They have since even ceased to reply to my emails. I have no idea how to proceed to get my merchandise or my money. these people keep sending test messages telling me that my debit card has been frozen. please call this number to take care of your account. i call to tell them where to go. it's an automated system and they want me to enter my card number and pin number. this has been going on for over a year. i contacted the actual credit union west and they said they can't do anything about it, but they do acknowledge the scam. i have never used them as a bank and never would. why is it just their bank? how did they get my phone number? this can't be right. can't someone do something? read full review »

We bought a Sears Kenmore Oven about five years ago. Today, I turned the oven on to preheat so I could bake cookies. After baking the cookies at 370 F, I turned off the oven. After few minutes, I opened the oven to remove the cookies and realized that the top heating element was red hot with the oven very hot and the cookies burned out. The only way to get the coil to stop heating was to unplug the oven from the outlet. This has happened a couple of times. When I contacted Sears I got no response since I did not have warranty. I was stopped by two gentleman in the Charlotte, NC airport while walking to a connection flight. I was offered a free round trip ticket (and assured that this was not a scam) for just opening a US Airways MC account and accepting a subscrition to Time Magazine, which I could cancel after the trial period. Unauthorized charges on Alltel cell phone bill for texting messages thaty were never asked for or wanted. Alltel reversed first month's charge @ 9.99 but claim they cannot do so in the future. I just got a call from Airtel Hyderabad, this was with regards to an acquaintance not having paid his phone bill. When i inquired where the person had taken my number from she said that it was given as a reference which I am very sure is untrue, I confronted her with this and she accepted that she had taken my number off the bill. This is absolute breach of confidentiality. My number is not even an Airtel number, these people cannot use bills to get numbers in such cases. After signing up, tried to cancel membership within cancelation period. They have numerous hoops to jump thru involving the USPS (which I complied with), and had continued to take out money from my checking account despite repeated efforts to have it halted. Eventually went to my bank and had all withdrawals stopped, but SMC refuses to acknowledge membership cancelation. They have even gone so far a to turn me over to a collection agency for over $300. I was in the process of configuring my computer for new internet service - and hadn't totally got my antivirus reactivated. I payed the supposed refundable enrollment fee of $90 did my first 100 post card sent them back the very next day with the money($100) for the new batch of 500 postcards I waited for a check for the first batch of 100 post cards but never received it. I became a Southwest Gas customer in November 2008. During that time I have been late with my payment several times. Let me explain why. They send out a bill from Las Vegas to Litchfield Park Arizona 10 days before it is due back to Las Vegas. If you are one day late it is considered delinquent. I think it is completely unreasonable for Southwest Gas to mail a bill (for instance this month) on the 18th and it is due back on the 28th.
