BarCareers.com is a complete SCAM. They advertise bartending jobs all over the country paying $20-$60 per hour (check careerbuilder or numerous other job boards). I received a rather long, odd, and rambling letter on cheap computer paper from an Attorney John Sullivan from P.N. Financial at an old Indiana address. I too used to use Unishippers and had many of the same issues that are written about here, extra charges billed higher than the quoted amount and freight claims not paid because if you read the disclaimer it says freight is insured for much less than the industry standard of $20.00 per lb. that's why their rates are low. We purchased 2 Access HD Converter Boxes. We hooked one up and it does not come on at all. The plug get so hot you cannot touch it and it smells like it will catch on fire because it is so hot. I found this particular company on careerbuilder.com and it was asking for extras. I called the number and they needed my information for a shipping fee . Not only did they charge me that fee, but double that for a "non-refundable" charge that was never even mentioned. I called to check on the order several days later and they only had it if I upgraded to a "package" of needless and expensive extras. When I requested to speak to a manager I was disconnected.
