After ordering a couch, which i did receive, and i am happy with. Damion proceeded to charge my credit card TWICE!! and i paid by CHECK!!! He offered to credit my credit card, but he only credited half of the money!!! I have been fighting with him for over a year. In February, he emailed me a contract. This company appears to operate under a host of other names and has associations with companies with equally unsavory reputations. They currently operate out of Parsippany, NJ under Five Points Travel which is an issuing agent or distributor for Vacation Travel Club in Benton Harbor, MI. I ordered a "free" bottle online on Nov. 11. It had not come when my credit card security company called me Nov. 26 and asked if I had authorized an amount of $89.31. They gave me a toll free number to call. A young woman named Hannah said that I had agreed to the charge when I did not call or email within 15 days. Wow! I too recieved what I thought would be one bottle for $5.95 for shipping and handling. Except I got four bottles and a letter stating I had two weeks to cancel or I would be charged $88.73. WENTWORTH DIRECT FINANCE, Be warned this is a scam to get your money. You pay 55 pounds and receive no loan. They promise you that you have been accepted for a loan and that you will be paid out within 7 to ten days but then you hear nothing back. try to contact them and you spend hours on the phone in a queue to be told you need to contact head office in writing if you want your money back. The Commonwealth Bank canceled a 10 year old personal account without warning or notice because of a $10 overdraft resulting from bank fees. I bought my Maytag Ice2O from Home Depot 16 months ago. I have never before bought an extended warranty but did get one in this case, as because the fridge was so expensive. I am so happy that I did!!!! Yesterday the light panel went crazy and the ice door started flapping incessantly. I purchased furniture from Bassett. The total amount was around $15k -- I paid cash for all but $2500 that they put on a GE card. GE has CHANGED THE DUE date the 5th to 7th for the entire time I have had the card. And if you do not pay by 5pm the DUE date, they charge a $30 late fee. BIGGGEST RIP OFF ARTIST I have ever seen. We ordered a PODS container to store our houshold goods while our Condo unit will be rented. When I placed the order with PODS via telephone, I was never asked whether or not I was going to need moving pads. I was aksed if I needed a lock and I said no thank you, I will be supplying my own. Crucial Media IS a scam. They've taken money from me and several others without delivering the service they promised. All emails and formal letters - complaint letters etc are COMPLETELY IGNORED, phone calls are cut off. Crucial Media called me and sold me a excellent (by the sounds of it) one-off advert service for £295. Before I realised they took 4x the payment.
