In August 2006, I checked on-line for DSL availability through Earthlink to replace my existing SNET/Yahoo DSL. Their system stated DSL was available, so I signed up. Shortly thereafter, I received an email back stating that they could not supply me DSL. I was very surprised, but figured this was the end of it. I bought one Tata Indicom USB Modem by applying through internet and their service executives came and gave the usb modem and collected money. He said it takes 1 day for activating, but even after 10 days it is not working and they are not even responding to my calls. NaxpMedia charged me $40 for a dvd set on December 12, 2007. On the 24th I was notified that they were going to send it via UPS. The tracking number reveals no delivery just a note indicating "billing information received". It has been over a month and I have not received the merchandise. When I called the phone number, I was told I signed up for this service and there was no manager to contact regarding the fraud charges. They said they would cancel my membership per my phone call. When I called the company and received a voicemail message, my fraud antennae went up immediately. I've left three messages with the company and still have not received a return phone call.
