I had an auto loan with Peak 5 a division of FlatIron Financial Services and when I called the Co. the voicemail indicated they were no longer in business. I never received a letter or phone call letting me know the change so I could send my payment in a prompt manner. This will delay my payment and could result in a reporting to the Credit Bureaus. bought a defective oxygen sensor with 2 month warranty that they refuse to replace or refund after several emails, the last of which demanded I take it to a licensed mechanic, which I told them I did and never heard from them again after several more inquiries. I have an A6 with only 40k Miles on it with multiple problems. it is a 2003 so it is out of warranty. I spent $1200 at the Audi service shop with a result of them saying they don't know why it misfires. Now the immobilization control unit (some anti theft deal from Audi) has locked the car up and it will not start. They will not give me the codes unless I have it towed to an Audi dealer. I do not live near a dealer so the cost including towing of getting my own car started by a dealer is approximately $2000. I bought a vehicle that obviously had a bad transmission that was covered up during the test drive by telling me where to go on the test drive and overfilling the transmission fluid so that it would not be noticed on the test drive. Dealer did not disclose all exsisting problems with the vehicle prior to selling it. I rented a single scooter for 4 hrs at Sunshine rentals in Key West. Owner asked me to sighn a contract and live deposit 300 doll, which I did. As I understood contract company might keep my deposit only in case of phisical damage to scooter. The vehicle suffered a mechanical failure in the form of engine rocker arm mounting bolts pulling out of the head. (Dreaded 3.4 v-6) Agreed to have them repair it. Later, while adding windshield washer fluid, I noticed a reflection from the engine compartment that ultimately proved to be the remaining shaft of a coolant bleeder screw where the hex head had been sheared off. My Grandson was in an accident and was towed by Guardian Towning at 7945 Arjons Dr San Diego, CA, who was called by the CHP. This occured on a Sunday, so I called on Monday to see if we could trade the title for the tow and storage. they agreed to do so and I gave them my fax number to send an agreement stating this was agreeable and they said they would. I called back on Thursday to find out when the fax would be sent and was told that it wouldn't be and that the car had already been liened! This is just 4 days after the tow!
