Afterwards tailgate would not open as linkage was disconnects, after repairing myself I noticed the placid covers on my tailgate were loose, almost falling off. Be very careful when buying automobiles from CarMax. I purchased my car Dec 2009 and was quite happy with the purchase in the beginning. First of all they add lots of features with gloom and doom scenarios to take the low price to a all time high. I purchased a used vehicle January 26th, 2011, a 2007 Jeep Laredo. I live near this brother and sister owned auto repair shop and I carried a tire there and used their air hose to inflate it. I then returned home and installed it on the car and returned with one more tire and an air tank. I waited until a neighbor put air in his tires, (who incurred no charges), and then I inflated the second tire and put air in my air tank. I optained a loan from Triad. The account ended up going to collections. I was paying a credit collection agency called AIS Services on this account since 2008. Santander bought out Triad. I usually fill up at Shell, but last Friday filled up at the Circle K because it had a cheaper premium gas price. I actually did not notice it was a Circle K, but instead saw the 76 sign, and thought it was safe. The next morning, started the car and it threw up the Check engine light. Engine felt bogged down, timing retarded, rough idling and almost stalling. I reset the CEL and this morning I added half a tank of premium gas from a Shell station and car immediately felt like it had more power, stronger idle. radiator repair; over ten days to diagnose problems, repair and replace. They claimed the problem(s) was caused by a problem in the engine. They dismantled the engine and held my car hostage for 28 days. I lost faith in their ability to repair my 2007 Honda Accord. I RESCUED my car and some of the parts after 30 days of lying, and poor management. The engine and bolts where in the trunk but the alternator and bolts where allegedly "missing."
