Our place got flooded my dad's car was drowned in the water for 3 days... When we were fixing his car, we badly need some of its auto parts to replace the wet parts which could no longer be use because it were already covered with thick muds and its wet all over... since we don't have any means of transportation to go to auto shops... i decided to look via online on how to purchase auto parts with free delivery. I had a Nissan Maurano 06, that had the ignition key get stuck inside and the lock was broken and would not release the Key.
Contacted Nissan Global to get assistance in maybe at least providing the part while i would pay for the install.
It was the worst experience dealing with this golliath of a Corporation, and not backing up their bad product. Who ever heard of a Key ignition going bad. That should last the lifetime of the car.

I would recommend staying away from Cost U Less Insurance in California, as their agent I went to for my auto insurance completely misled me over the phone and actually tried to still sell me a polcy once I was in the office. When I called in he was very friendly and gave me a price quote that sounded good for basic coverage on my vehicle, but when I got in the office, the BS started.

Hyundai Accent 2010
My wife rented an Hyundai Accent 2010 for a trip to PEI. (We live in Gatineau Que). A squirel ate through the gas line at a camp site and she needed to replace that rental with another from the same company. (The part has to be ordered and will take 10 days to arrive). Now, with abandonment fees etc. this could cost us over 2000.00.
I've heard of rodents eating engine wiring but to use the same yummy plastic on gas lines... Are they kidding?
This should be illegal. Have you heard of other cases like this? Are other new model cars doing this?

I had a Nissan 2009 that was a lemon and Nissan gave a buy back with the Nissan 2010. I was told that everything we had for the 2009 including the extended warranty would be on the 2010. When I called Fidelity was told that I was still paying for the 2009 and that 20010 did not have the warranty.

I placed an order with this company expecting UPS Ground delivery. They instead e-mailed me a Fedex number. It was Fedex Home Delivery (lower service). They shipeed later than they claimed with the tracking number causing a 5 day delivery to become a 8 day delivery. Then they shipped to some other address to boot. The company had an excuse for everything and not once did they do anything to rectify the problem or offer at least an apology. poor company! I rented a car from Alamo from July 9-12, in Billings, MT. A week later I received a call from Amy Davis stating the windshield was cracked when the car was returned.
Both my passenger and I can attest to the fact that there was no damage to the car. We filled the car up and washed the windshield one mile from the airport we returned the car to.
I wrote and asked for picture varification, and a bill from the company that did the repairs. Also the reason I was charged two days down time while the repair was done.
