They originally signed me up with the promise of getting a minimum of 3 foreclosures per week to do the property preservation on. These were to start a week after my background check was done, which cost me $99. It has been 4 months since I joined and they have not sent me any property preservation work and the leads that they send are bogus leads that are old and the people don't even want any work done. It is a totall scam and I will be making complaints with the appropriate agencies to get these people stopped. read full review »

This complaint is against Shamrock Home Furnishings in Bloomingdale, IL. They follow bad business techniques. Read on to know how they really are before you do any business with them. I had purchased a bed frame and a floor bed mattress from them. They did not have the exact kind of mattress I wanted so they suggested that I take another kind and if I was satisfied with that I could exchange it in 2 weeks.

This company takes the term "shoddy builder" to another level. We had a home built by them back in 1999 in south Alabama (they no longer have a office in Alabama). From the start, there was one problem after another. I was out of pocket several thousand dollars for things that are usually included in the constrcution costs by other builders. We assembled it halfway & then realized that it will be too big for a small room. We had not even open all the pegs & the screws. Everything was in its original packing. Two day later we went to return it to the store.

I paid for a bed via paypal with shipping included in January 09 and only recieved half the bed. It's September and I get promises from Larry and Amanda Davis that will be shipped out in the next few days and now it's 4 months later I have recieved nothing but empty promises. I even went as far as saying I pay for the shipping and still I have NOTHING!!! THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO THE WAREHOUSE TO GET THE MISSING PIECES AND STILL THEY CAN'T DO THAT. My husband and I purchased an antique leaded stain glass window to be restored and hung in our new kitchen in our 1892 Queen Anne Victorian. We needed the glass to be cleaned because it was covered with a layer of what looked like shellac. The center rods to hold the window firm were detached and needed to be re- soldered on. within the first 4 months we had sears come down because the freezer would get cold & the refridge would stay warm. Finally after the third time they replace some parts & all was good for approx 14 months but now again we have the same issue freezer works refrige stays hot . since we are out of warranty they tell us the sorry blah blah speech which means TO BAD. I stayed at Holiday Inn Charleston House Aug. 13-15, 09 for TD Jakes conference. I was so displeased with your service. My complaints are as follow; wrong room (2double beds instead of a king size), only one light worked in the room, mattress on one of the beds was sunken in, iron would not remain plugged in the wall socket. We contacted the front dest, yet no one came to replace the lights or anything. It was such an inconvenient stay and I was totally disappointed with your service. Do not, I repeat, do not buy the micro fiber furniture, or the protection plan. The furniture stains just with water spills and any other type of spill is permanent. Then, if they can not get the stains out of your furniture, as promised, they will cancel your plan until you are able to pay someone to get the stains out yourself, at which point they will return and reapply the same product that failed in the first place.

I purchased a home in PSL - in 2005 the previous owner hired this company to replace his roof after the storms. I know once the home changes hands there is no longer a warranty. I ordered a full-sized futon cover and it is no where near close to a standard full size. I asked West Elm to send a postagepaid return label (I already paid $8 to get the item) and they refused saying the cover only fits THEIR futons - so I responded that no where did it indicate that on the web site and requested a label again. We are facing problems with our Whirlpool purafresh R.O. Water Purifier purchased on 17.10.2008
Since June onwards we have complained thrice and the service engineer has repaired the same 3-4 times till date. The reasons given by the engineer were cartridge to be replaced, vacuum created etc. Inspite of the repeated repairs the problem with the purifier still exists. We bought 10 windows and a sliding door from this company a few years ago. I am still trying to get them done right. OMG what a mess they left behind. They had 2 people removing all of these windows and installing them only two. They took a huge loud metal saw and cut our old windows out. Once they were installed they made a mess with the calking and left big gaps. When I opened my refrigerator door, I smelled burning. I felt the top shelf of the refrig and noticed that it was very hot and all of the food was hot. Everything in the frig was warm and spoiled.
