I bought a dishwasher 16 months ago. It has been giving me problems since 2 months ago. It took the technician 15 days to attend to the call and that too only after numerous calls to customer care and to the technician's manager. The so-called "Customer care" is pathetic to say the least. I would recommend that nobody buy IFB products. Maybe that will teach them to treat customers better. read full review »

I have ordered a Sears 12, 000 Btu air conditioner model 75121. The initial delivery had to be returned because of severe damage not seen from the unopened box. The replacement unit was not properly packaged, also damaged, and did not operate. It is becoming evident that the Sears vendor is shipping units that it knows are damaged. Wow, I wish I'd seen all the complaints for Nationwide Home Warranty before we bought the plan--thank goodness I only a few more months to put up with their lies and lack of service. We bought the policy in Feb. 2009. We had a claim for part of our A/C unit in May. Last year, I went to Furnitueland to see about purchasing some furniture. I decided to get a dresser, mirror, and a 5-drawer chest for one of my sons. I put the set on lay-away. On August 11, 2008 I purchased new furniture for my daughter's bedroom. None of the furniture was marked as being "on sale". Subsequent to my purchase, the furniture has gone "on sale" at least twice. The price, however, is always the same. HOM has a policy of refunding the difference between sale prices and regular prices. We purchased two chairs along with the Stain Safe warranty in April of 2007.We filed a claim and received a response from Stain Safe on Dec. 3, 2007 that the parts would be delivered in 8 to 12 weeks. I stay in Bangalore and had registered a complaint via the Pure It customer care centre (call centre) and was told that someone would visit my home and attend to the complaint WITHIN 4 WORKING DAYS. IT WOULD BE A MISTAKE TO ORDER ON LINE FROM THIS COMPANY. On 8-25-09 I ordered a over the range microwave thru their on line internet site. When the order finally arrived, 9-3-09 the microwave was double boxed and there was no damage to the shipping carton. I had a leak under my kitchen sink. I felt stupid later that I did not check the washers before I called Pat the Plumber. There was a $60.00 charge to come to my home. I agreed to that. The service man came in and reached under the sink with his hand. He did not even need a tool. It took one minute at the most. He tightened the washer with his hand and then said the charge was $176.00 Travel fee and minimum one hour labor charge. He would not leave without me paying him. I live alone. Do not use factory Direct SPA Covers. I bought a cover from them in 2007 with a 10 year warranty and they will not return my emails. The cover has bubbled and is no longer the color gray, now it is brown and staining the deck and steps. I sent them pictures of the damage and have gotten no response. This is the first time I have had a cover fail like this. The company web site is hottub-covers.com. All Pro Services in the dallas area were the vendors...they never answered their phone, didn't return my call, AHS called them and they said they were ordering a part...said it would be in at the latest in one week...it wasn't, my toilet is still broken.
