I received a water bill for the month of August in the amount of $293.93. The total amount of usage they say? 80, 540!!! I have a family of 6 and average 6-7000 gallons per month. When I called this exorbitant bill into question, I was told I must have a leak. After having that chaecked, I requested the meter be inspected. I met with a great deal of resisitance, only to finally have somone come out and tell me that they had never seen a meter malfunction and then go back to working. Bought the auger at their website that says you can buy the auger at a very lowlow price, it says you get all the pieces of the set( power drill, extender, groundaug, weed aug etc.) But when the package arrived, it only contained a 3" and 4" auger which are useless without the drill. read full review »

Inland Pools and Spas is really Erickson Pools in Frisco Texas, the owners of the Texas company ripped off a few 100K from their customers and subs and moved to Murrieta California and opened up Inland Pools and Spas, the owners are Dan and David Lowe, while they list a "Kurt" as their owner its just a front for them because there is so much negative attention given to their own names. We purchased a $500.00 Whirlpool GU1200 dishwasher in 2003. In little more thatn a year, just long enought to be out of warranty, the items in the top rack were not getting clean. We did not connect the problem with the motor until the repairman we called out diagnosed the problem. We had him install a new motor for about $300.00. I couldn't wait to receive my Dirt Devil Carpet Shampooer. I received it Friday and Sunday starting using it by cleaning my two hallways but didn't go any further as I wasn't happy with the results. I had a Bissell Heat Pro that had quit but I had been happy with it until I started having trouble with it after around 5 years. I ordered flowers from Petals in Bloom in the amount of $45.58. On 10-4-08, Petals in Bloom charged my credit card an additional $445.58. My credit card company put a fraud alert on the charge and temporarily credited the $445.58 back to me. I called Petals in Bloom and store employees kept telling me that their credit card swipe machine was bad and being replaced and that the machine was inadvertently charging cards without purchases. I Hired Daneil Tijerina & Daneil Tijerina Jr. With "Rising Tile Marble & Stone" to remodel a Bathroom. They were supposed to Remove all the fixtures, and install new Marble Tiles (of a design that I approved ahead of time) and then re-install new fixtures. I live in Klayan nagar venture - 8-3-167/k/31/32/ for the past ten years.. Now the problems have started .. Would not honor written warranty. Upon inspection and half repair, White Seal Roofing's employee stated it was the same spot repaired prior. V349 deck tiles faded after 4 weeks of installation. Company has not stood behind their product. They have stated 1 year leadtime on direct replacement or offered us a less expensive unequal replacement. We are not satisfied and think Home and Garden needs to know seeing they promote this product. Keep in mind this is a 22x22 deck replacement $3k worth of material. read full review »

I bought a peachtree door about 5 years ago from a dealer that has gone out of business. In march 2009, the door would not latch shut. The handle on the door will not spring up and latch the door shut. I had a guy from Hammond Lumber co. help me out by dealing back and forth on the phone. He sent me a new door lock set, and it does not fit and he sent me another one, and that did not fit. I still have a door that will not shut and latch. I am disgusted that a company that claims to be "so confident in the quality of our products" only offers a 1 year warranty on their products! After spending $400.00 on a stand mixer, I had enamel breaking off in pieces into my cake batter! The Room Place, previously Harlem Furniture customer service was rude and incompetent!! I purchased a $4, 000 sectional couch, delivery was last Thursday and set-up was incomplete. They neglected to hook the pieces on the rail so when you sit down the pieces move. Haverty Furniture in Ft. Myers is not to be believed. I had a credit balance of over $100 which was verified by one of the sales managers. When I tried to use it at a later date I was told I had none and the sales manager didnt know how to read the information off the computer. I told them I have a invoice with a credit balance on it. They gave me another story about how corporate does that but its not so in my case. Of course, I never received anything from corporate that I no longer had a credit. These people at least at the Ft. Company claims they buy phone access from Verizon and re-sell it at a lower rate to save consumers money. What they actually do is reduce per line access charge by a couple of dollars and then add undisclosed service charges to make the total bill higher than it would have been from Verizon. I have attempted to modify service plan multiple times and found that they wont honor verbal agreements. E-mails sent to customer service are kicked back as spam and messages left for management go un-returned. read full review »

We contacted Smartway Appliance to see if they could fix the softener dispenser on our Maytag washer. The serviceman came to our home, concluded that the dispenser tray was defective and we paid the man to order another part for us. On June 17 I purchased a new refrigerator from DeSears. One June 19 it was delivered to my home by Tom Boles, a delivery person for DeSears. Had pipe leak in slab. American Plumbing came out and can repipe my whole house. Quoted, $789. I signed the work order. The repipe was done. I recieved an invoice and gave my credit card number. The final bill came to over, what I thought was $900. I had the plumber do extra work so I thought it was reasonable. What a shock I got when my credit card was charged over $9000. not $900. We had a new Dacor cook top installed on 3/31/08 with five known major defects. The installer, recommended by CBD Family Appliances(CBD), contacted CBD and they allowed the istallation to proceed.
