Bought Kingsbury model of Harbour Breeze Aug 2010 at Lowe's Bloomfield Hills, Michigan put above master bed, loved it for rest of 2010, it's remote model. I stained my deck with Cabot solid-color water-based Deck Stain in September 2010. I followed the exact instructions given by the hardware store selling the product. We ordered an iron front door for our new house addition on Dec. 21, 2010. As of June 20, we have received nothing but alot of lies. If we are lucky enough to get them on the phone, we hear the same story about our door is ready to ship this Friday. The have other complaints against them with defective doors, won't take phone calls, etc. We were lucky to get our money back on our credit card. Never pay cash or write a check. Canadian Tire has a cash incentive plan so I used it and now have lost the receipt. The lawnmower lower bearing collar has sheared off and the motor is now non-responsive. The blade is clean and undented. Despite having the box the mower arrived in c/w the shipping date and store shipped to, CT would not accept this as proof of purchase and thereby screwed me wrt the warrantee work (one year short of ending). Geist Flooring has 2 different aspects: Tiling and Wood Flooring installation. The tiling man is great; on the other hand the wood flooring man, Jeff Geist, is rude, arrogant and the work was terrible. We found pits in the wood flooring and cracks in a few pieces. My 91 year old father was sold this mower for his 66 year old daughter (me) to use to mow a very large lawn. "Guaranteed to Start" is a deception. All mowers start eventually and this one is so hard to start...but it does start eventually. I was told that, after 30 days, any unused gas must be disposed as it will destroy the engine. I told management there was a possibility I had mold, all they did was spray some chemical on it and said that wasnt mold when they had never looked at it. I have been a customer of this company for three years and it is the WORST utility company I have ever seen. When you call this company to make a payment, the automated phone service directs you to a 800 number wherein you make the payment using a credit/debit card/electronic check. Once you make the payment it tells you that the payment, if made before 3:00 p.m. is credited to your account the same day. We had a huge hail storm with baseball size hail and probably 85% of the homes in my subdivision got new roofs. I contacted 4 companies and decided on Aspen b/c of all their "promises". A fly by night tree service in Southern Indiana that performs more work than agreed, then lies about it and charges additional fees. This guy cut more trees than was agreed upon, {he wanted the wood}, then charged my wife extra money for the service. So, he was paid for the cutting and clean up, then sold the wood for additional money. He told her I agreed on the extra work and told me that she did. Unfortunately, we didn't get to the bottom of it until after he cashed her check. I'm still considering a lawsuit.
