I purchased a Kenmore Elite Trio refrigerator in April 2004. This weekend we were hearing loud thumping noises coming from the refrigerator and earlier that afternoon, the top refrigerator portion of the unit died. I live in Plumstead in South East London, over the weekend (14&15th October 2006) one of my bedroom windows got smashed. This has been the worst home improvement supplier I have ever delt with. Their customer service is awful. No retrun call, no return emails. Just awful. On July 6th I purchased 6 boxes of PRBAMHC Bamboo flooring. I installed the first 5 boxes and the floor looked great. We purchased a washer & dryer August 2004. The dryer stopped working three months after purchase. I've contacted the local Furnitture Fair store on numerous occasions. Each time I was directed to a 1-800 number for warrenty items. It is now almost two years and the warenty will soon expire. In june of this year I paid Daniel Sneed from Dimensions Architecture to draw plans for the interior renovation of a medical office in Azusa, CA. I contracted with them to install hardwood flooring in my family room, library and staircase. They got half the money up front and finished the library and the family room and then demanded and extra $400.00 dollars as payment in full for the library and the family room. My wife and I moved into a new home in Berkeley Springs, WV in Dec. 2004. We contracted with Thompson Gas to provide a 200 gallon propane supply tank. This dishwashers rollers that the racks sit on are very cheap. They break constantly and I have had to replace them several times and have ended up super gluing them. I e-mailed Maytag and their response was basically too bad. The service man that came and worked on the racks told me that there was a problem with them, but even the ones that he replaced them with broke. I ordered a sleigh bed from Ashley furniture in April to be delivered April 30, 2006. My furniture was not only delayed but it was scratched/busted where the delivery man and he was afraid to admit the truth. He dropped the headboard but never let me know he continued to make me think my furniture was on the way. We contracted John Dube to paint our house. He guaranteed his work for 5 yrs., and told us he was fully insured (we have this in writing). After painting our house, then have it peel off a few months later, we contacted him. He did a "patch" job, but it again did not take. He told us he had never painted a house built with mahogany wood before, and would not be able to come back, because he would lose money painting our house again. I purchased a living room set (couch & 2 chairs) from Raymour and Flanigan in October 2005, the salesman stated how they stand behind their products and convinced me to by the"Platinum Protection Plan" for only $199.95. We purchased three pieces of granite and one cabinet all full price. The cabinet was installed with a dent in the side. We purchased a new cabinet (not a second hand cabinet). We also requested a cap to go on the side of the cabinet (this would cover the dent). However, Zabi stated he would not install the in cap. He also stated that he could not meet our standards. I bought this product in Jan 2006 and it stopped working after 3 months. I have logged several complaints regarding this and no one has come to my place and they have not tried to contact me as well. Amoz and Thomas Lamb (owners) of Amoz-Lamb construction (Lambs Construction) are constantly cutting corners. Their work is sub-standard. I have pictures to show their shoddy work... The quality is inferior, they came in a million pieces that I had to assemble, they don't accept returns, and THE CHANDELIERS ARE NOT UL RATED, plus the people are rude and unresponsive. We have moved into a new property in the past 3 weeks and unfortunately it has a gas pre-payment meter. I phoned British Gas to get a card to allow us to top up the meter and they assured me one was on the way, in the meantime they sent out an engineer to give us the £10 emergency credit facility. Designs in Mica and Wood owner Paul keeps telling me that they do great work and can make all their defects go away but after dealing with them for over a year now it has not happened. My complaint is about a furniture store in Indianapolis, Indiana. I ordered a few pieces of furniture from Gerdt Furniture in July 2006. When it arrived I was going to drive to Indy and pick it up to avoid any additional charges for delivery.
