I tested a Simmons Beautyrest mattress in Kirschmans Furniture Store in Metarie, La. The bed was wonderful in the store. I had the bed delivered on Jan. 17, 2004. All of our appliances are Kitchenaid and are nothing but problems. Latest one is the built in oven. While baking, the lower element burned out and burned a hole in the bottom of the oven.. I give the sales person (Randy) a drawing and measurement (done by Lewis). Randy made the list of materials ($1996.73) and installation prices ($1213.27). When the installer came to do the installation they were short materials. Randy misses several pieces. I when back to and bought the extra material. The Laminate Store will not send the installer back unless I pay $75.00 trip fee. The Laminate Store salesman (Randy) made the mistake; therefore the Laminate Store should pay the trip fee. I paid cash for a leather sofa on may 5th, 2006 in the amount of $1,356.27 and set-up delivery for may 30, 2006. On the day of delivery the delivery men were obviously in a rush and jilted my door on the way in with my sofa, rendering my top lock useless. This problem started months ago when a technician came out to replace a modem and told me that the signal coming into the house was a little low. I'm not going to say anymore than that...for now. The contract with Touch of Class Construction, Inc. was signed on May 23, 2005. The sales representative presented himself as the nephew of the owner of company. This turned out to be untrue. This is one of those outrageous early termination fee compaints. Had $15.99 internet scheduled in July for one year. I lived in Indiana until that May of 2006, at which time I moved to Ohio. Since AT&T did not cover Ohio I had to terminate my service 4 months early of the contract. So of course they sent me a $200.00 early termination fee bill. Do the math and you might realize something doesn't add up. For 4 months at $16.00 there would only have been a bill of $64.00. My parent's home was reroofed after a hail storm in 1995. I moved back in and inherited the home in 1999. The roofing warranty says nothing about being invalid if deed is transfered. It leaks terribly and I have been trying to locate KC Construction Services, Inc. since we moved back in. Even though they are listed with the BBB, on the internet and phonebook, they do not exist here in Texas. The roof has a 20 year warranty . I purchased a bed last week, Monday, at the Easy life furniture in Cerritos, CA and paid cash and $65.00 delivery fee. I was told that the bed will be delivered that Friday and they will call to let me know the time. Friday morning and I have not received a call so I call the store. I am filing a complaint against the following roofer because of the death traps he and his roofers created. Arnold Check (CFT Enterprises) and his roofers created many hidden problems. The most dangerous were the creation of large holes in the wood sheathing that were hidden by covering them over with shingles. In July 1998, we purchased Bruce Traffic Zone Laminate flooring (in a light Maple color) for our kitchen/dining room. Last October (2002) we noticed that the flooring was turning green where the sun shown on it. Last summer we followed all the directions on the product and also from the employees of Home Depot to put Behr stain onto our new deck. This spring the snow melted and we were left with a terrible mess. The whole deck had peeled and is now all blotchy. The only way to fix this is to sand all of the deck and start over with a different stain. The new digital meter racks up Kw hours that are not being used. Have had circuits tested to see if anything is running aground and all testing indicates nothing is beyond microamperage. This company is hired by Edison company to trim trees from wires. They are apparently exempt from responsibility on their part of damaging a tree to the extent of endangering a home and possible harm or death to inhabitants of the home. They trimmed 2 30' * trees sitting together approximately 10-15 feet from my home. I purchased a 15'X48" Round Metal frame above ground pool. The filter pump included in the package is the Krystal Clear Model 637R filter pump. This pump is only capable of filtering 1, ooo gal. per hour. It does not filter the proper amount in order to filter the water in the 4, 440 gal. pool. I have discussed this with several Professional Pool Companies and they all agree the GPH should be no less than 2500 gals. per hour. I called Intex, and was told point blank that the pump was fine. I was sold a bill of goods by cali bamboo. I was told the bamboo fencing was more durable than steel, weather resistant, and the perfect outdoor fence. I ordered 400' of fencing, and was told that their would be explicit directions on how to install it. We purchased the deluxe solar cover reel system. It has been pain in the butt ever since we've tried to use it. The handle keep falling apart from the wheel. The wheel bearings then come apart, too. When we try to pull the cover overthe pool, it falls off the holders and rolls away somtimes into the pool. Also, the middle sags so low when the cover is all the way on that it drags on the ground. The worst part is that Doheny's would not let us return it or refund us. In fact, they offered NO compensation. We have taken a 200 dollar loss. TERRIBLE customer service. We built a home in Woodberry which is located in Fairfield Township. Our builder was Drees and they did a wonderful job on our house. Shortly after we moved in MI Homes took over the subdivision. I purchased a total of more than $15, 000 at Dolphin carpet and tile. They started with the ground floor installing over 900 sq ft of tile of which 15% are laid incorrectly, meaning that there are corners that are much higher that the tile around it enough for a vacuum cleaner to get caught when going over the tile, then in addition I had a special design done at the homes entrance way using a beautiful mosaic tile.
