It took 3 months for them to get the Bed and dresser I ordered in. I complained weekly and was given 5 dates. They never called me I had to call their Peoria store and be transferred to the Champaighn customer service!!! My new martress and box I purchased from them sat on the floor 3 months. I f they can not provide the product they sell the should shut their doors. Their service was worse than poor it was no service. Whirlpool engineer visited my home end March 2011 to check the non-working window AC and gave in writing that the rotary compressor was not functioning. The compressor is within 5 years warrantee period. The AC was taken away on 1st April and returned in my absence after 11 days with some old compressor which is groaning and making intolerable noise. Even after my family protested that the repair was ineffective and bad, they still installed it. I find attitude of the repair workshop very poor. We built a new home in 2002 using Andersen green vinyl clad, double hung windows. The windows started fading right away (after I was assured by Andersen that they wouldn't). After 9 years the fading is significant. Their solution was they would paint them. I bought vinyl clad so I wouldn't have to paint, so I have delayed any decision. They offered a low rate for an AC checkup. Upon arrival, NO maintenance was performed. They tried to sell me replacement capacitors for parts that were still good at 10X the actual cost as well as WAY overpriced services such as coil cleaning and drain cleaning. If you decline, they pressure you to buy the 3 year ($499.00) service agreement to cover "necessary" repairs. I put in a claim for the Water Heater, they sent a plumber who request to replace because internal leaking. But they said they don't cover the tank even thought the policy said it cover all major parts. Our water heater ruptured and dumped 80 gallons of water into our home. It happened at 11;30 PM on a Friday evening. the insurance recommended servpro as the first choice. We trusted them, but when derrick arrived he talked a good game and only finished half of it.
