I ordered several items from Seventh Avenue. None of them arrived damaged, but one of the big items that cost $40 to ship cracked AFTER we put it together. So in order to get a refund of $250, we'd have to pay another $40 or more to ship it back - out of pocket. Plus we'd have to take it all apart after taking two hours to put it together in the first place. Another item we purchased also did not go together well at all. The GripperStrips are horrible. The product is literately a 1/4 in. piece of gray foam with a mildly adhesive backing. They claim that it is the most revolutionary product on the market, and you would think that " Futon Planet " would be the experts on that! I called to get a refund of the $29.99 I spent on them. I placed and order and the order was not delivered for 2 months upon receipt of the order I called to return it since it was nothing like the scent that was supposed to be duplicated. In fact it smelled like they put soap in water and called it perfume. They refused to return my money as they said that I was outside of the 30 days. Yes but I also did not receive the product within 30 days and when I emailed to ask where the product was they did not inofrm me that if I didn't cancel at that point there would be no refund available. This is a company who installs walls of acrylic over old bathroom tiles. Their brochure states that they jut need one day. On May 14th they installed the walls in my apartment. Within two weeks one wall bowed into the room. I was told that the man did not allow for expansion due to the heat. This was on May 30th. I was told that they could not return till July 3rd. As noted in another complaint, 1&1 claims that an attempt to charge credit card/bank account failed. They do nothing for 3 months, no attempt at contact. No email, no phone call, no snail mail. The company damaged my filing cabinet and dining table. Even though I found the cheapest possible replacements at OfficeMax and WalMart, the company is too cheap to send $280 in compensation and instead keeps stonewalling. I recently returned a pair of shoes to FootSmart, within the allowed 60 day time period for returns. I had tried the shoes on 3 times, wearing them for 5-10 minutes each time and only in the house. We purchased in May 2008 an electronic fense for our back yard from Anagnos. We have requested service no less than three times due to gate not opening or closing properly. I have a postpaid dialup account with this company from the last 12 years. I use the email provided by them as my primary email account. They have my credit card details on thier file. This card expired on 31st. July 2009. The bank had already renewed the card with the same number but different expiry. Tata Indicom deactivated my account on 1st.
