Calumet.co.uk worst store ever? Bought a Sigma 10-20 Lens For Canon mount from them, they filled my address wrong, and sent the lens trough 3 different companies to deliver...which was hell to track. Sent an email requesting a tracking number, but never received a answer..Phoned to calumet...the operator refused to give me..stating that she had to make a lot of phone calls to discover it. A mess. Site didn't work. then later it did. then chose items for the 3rd time and checked out. No shipping options, and put through the order when I chose the back button to go back and change shipping, if they offered it. I lost a lot of time here. Their Firewire cables were hard to find. Be careful. This company sent me standard 40 pin ATA33 cables when the web site and invoice said ATA133. Just for the sake of arguement I benchmarked them and they were in fact ATA33. I called them up and they said "Our engineers tested them...blah, blah blah). I had it sitting next to a real ATA133 round cable and the difference was obvious. They said send it back for a refund but I'll take the $16.oo hit and get my stuff elsewhere. read full review »

I purchased a dog collar from their on-line catalog. The product originally sold for $99 and was listed on sale for $59. It was also clearly advertised as "in-stock". The next day I received a notice from them that my order was cancelled because the item had been discontinued. I was very disappointed. I had no problems with placing the order. They acknowledged the order & debited my cc immediatly. After 10 days, I emailed them (no phone #) to ask where my tape dec was. They replied, "item has been shipped". After 2 days watching my account info. I emailed them asking for the tracking # which they supplied a few days later. Had some BZBOY ram go bad. Their gaurantee is worthless as the replacement ram is not gauranteed to work as noted in their email below. Buysoftware apparently has the orders processed by Techwave. This extra order processing can add 2 days or so to the normal ground shipping times. However, I have ordered different items from www.buysoftware.com about 6-7 times now. Hard drives, Memory, In-Win cases, and monitors. I have never had a problem with any order. They have all arrived as expected. I've never needed to contact their sales or tech support people, so I cannot comment on them. I think that this is honestly the worst place you could possibly order from. They simply do not communicate with customers. I ordered a laptop from them. I ended up canceling my order simply because at no time did they let me know if my order was even received (although my credit card company listed the charge as pending). Great prices, horrible customer service. I ordered a "universal" folding bluetooth keyboard from buyGPSnow.com, discovered that the device was not, in fact, universal, so could not be used with my device. I filed an RMA to return the device, and despite explaining the situation, they still deducted the 15% restocking fee. I needed a fan for my Onkyo 805 Receiver because it's been known to be hot when in use. Someone bought a fan at buyextra and was happy with the results and recommended I get one as well. Super fast delivery service - I ordered a Raynox 250 and an adapter ring on Friday Mar 14, and received them yesterday (March 16)! And the items were shipped from California to Pennsylvania. 8 months ago I purchased one time WIFI internet service from AT&T at an airport. Now I realise that I am subscribed to a yearly service paying 20$ a months. I built web sites all my life for a living so I'm 110% sure that it wasn't very clear that I'm subscribing to a yearly service. I find AT&T's aproach very deceiving because I opened up a web page designed for that airport and its clear that %90 of the passangers would like to purchase a "one time" service.
