You can tell by reading the reviews that this place is TROUBLE. Too bad I read them after placing my order. The site lists an item in-stock, but never ships it after the purchase is made. Once you are finally able to cancel the order (which was very difficult to do), they insist you have been refunded, but you never receive your payement back. I am currently working through the Paypal claims process and disputing the charge with my credit card company. read full review »

TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS! Ordered a camera on line for $259 plus shipping of $20. Then I get an email from a Chris at bestpricecameras.com thanking me for placing an order and to call to confirm the order. Avoid this company like the plague! They are scam artists of the first order. As another reviewer notes, they operate under a number of different names (Call the “customer service” number, and notice that they don’t identify themselves by company name). I ordered a Bello AVS2763HG TV stand and had immediate buyers remorse, as I only did a superficial search for the vendor feedback. Much to my chagrine, they showed up with a number of storefronts and very mixed rating although the price was excellent. I started planning out how I was going to contest this on my credit card bill when to my surprise, the box shows up 2 days later, even though the order is still "processing". The box was damaged and open but that was Fedex's fault (Fedex would probably not accept a box in that condition from the shipper). Purchase was fine, but no warranty card or information supplied. When a factory recall issue came us, we sent to Nikon directly for repairs. They informed us that it was a gray-market camera, and would not repair. Have been unable to reach Best Pro Photo despite sending several e-mails and phone messages. DON'T TRUST AT ANY COST I recently heard of these scam artists on youtube and other store review sites. I decided to conduct a little experiment. I placed an order for a Nikkon camera. I had no intention of actually ordering this item. I provided my cell phone number and a made up billing address. I ordered an ATV for my son off of their website and at the time it had an offer to send rush shipping for free if ordered online. At checkout it did not offer the free shipping so I sent an email to the Budget ATV contact site. A week had passed and I did not receive a reply to my email so I sent a second email stating that I guess they were not going to honor their free shipping and that they must have chosen to ignore my last email. Ordered Elura 90 from bestdigitalonline.com. When I called the next day to confirm the order, I was asked to purchase accessories. I refused, they then asked me if I wanted to purchase a battery. I said no, the CS rep told me the camera is only a camera with no battery. I immed cancel the order. FRAUD, misleading. Stay away. Go to bhphotovideo.com, they are recommended by Canon. Low prices, but definitely not worth the couple dollars you'll save. Unbelievably slow process... Their website clearly states "Please allow 8-14 weeks for your subscription to start. I purchased and paid for a thermaltake power supply on Aug 24th, a week later no response on the shipping method and tracking info, I have emailed them more than 5 times with no response to any of them. They don't have a phone number posted on their website so I don't know how to get in touch with them. I have all my components to build my pc, except the darn power supply. My power supply took about a week to get to me, maybe because of the shipping method they use. By today's standards, that is just a few days too long for me. Products that I have ordered from other companies online got to me within a couple of days. Reading past reviews, their credit card page was secure when I put my order in. Other than that, good communication, product was packed nicely, runs great. Would do business with them again. Ordered a Surefire C2 and a Glo-Toob and have made about 5 or 6 other purchases from them in the past. I haven't had one bad experience with them and they always ship the items very quickly and they arrive in great condition. Never had a problem with any of the products I've ordered so I can't comment on any experiences returning something. I will definitely continue buying from BatteryJunction in the future! I was actually surprised to see a relatively low rating for them as I haven't heard of any problems from anyone else (I frequent a forum where many people seem to purchase from BatteryJunction). read full review »

Very very bad customer service - 2 months late with a backorder of AA Alkalines...when they finally arrived they were thrown into two plastic bags with no packaging and THEY WERE LEAKING! Power supply for external USB hard drive stopped working right after the warranty period expired. I ordered a new one for $15 dollars. Once you place an order with this site, they claim there's nothing they can do about it. I accidently placed an order before I was ready and immediately called to cancel it, but the person on the other end insisted that there was nothing she could do and it's too late to stop it. Barclays sells "grey market" items, which means the manufacturer warranty is voided straight out of the box. They're NOT authorized resellers. The "discount" you receive is absolutely NOT worth it -- purchase from a reputable seller and save yourself loads of grief. Once they have you on the phone, they'll try to upsell EVERYTHING. Watch out for this scam of a company. They leave "In Stock" on the website so you order it and then when you call to check because it hasn't arrive three weeks later they say two weeks. Then you call back again and they say two weeks. They tell you 25 were mis-tagged or mis counted and they apologize. Then they say depending on the import delays it may be longer. Well folks. Watch out! I bought a PCChips motherboard from them back in Dec98 and it arrives DOA. I ask for an exchange and they told me that the product has been discontinued. At first the told me to call PCChips manufacturer to see if I can get it repair! I say that's no way to do that. So, the finally told me the ship it to TechData to repair the motherboard. No one from the company answers the phone (EVER) or responds to voicemails, or emails directed to the address they provide on their website.
