After 8 days of my computer freezing up, and BitDefender shutting itself off I contacted BitDefender they told me to uninstall and reinstall the software, in the next few weeks I had to do this 4 times. I ordered two printer ink refills, which Printpal claimed had the same OR BETTER quality than new ones. Both of them do not work, they print in streaks and the papers come out unreadable. I am knowledgeable with computers so this is not an error on my part, they gave me two bogus products. The worst part is I would have to pay shipping to return them, according to their less-than-competent customer service team. I have shopped at ridegear.com several times over the last couple years but my most recent purchase was never shipped to me. I spent $67.49 on a jacket and my credit card was immediately charged but the jacket was never shipped. No e-mail saying it was shipped was ever sent. I contacted their customer service over 40 times in the last 10 months with only 3 responses. Well, I'm not sure if anyone else has gotten this phone call, but about half an hour ago I got a call from the Attourney General of Ohio's office. Apparently there has been some progress in the complaints so many of us made. Hopefully withing the next few weeks there will be a settlement. The person on the phone said that there was a good chance I would be getting everything except shipping costs back, which is far more than I expected now after almost 2 years... I guess I'll be the last person to add to this but to be fair, I ordered a P133 in October 1997 and the machine is still with me!! Actually, I don't use it anymore but my partner is a newbie and it suits him just fine. I chose Vektron over Micron because it had a better software option. My only complaint was that it used an AT style keybd connection and serial mouse. I won't bother upgrading but at the time I thought it wouldn't be a problem. I ordered a car seat on Amazon which was being sold through Baby Age. The price was low, so I called to confirm that it was the actual car seat as stated on the site and that the price was correct. I was told that it was the car seat and the price was correct as stated on the website. I received a confirmation email which stated that I had ordered a car seat. This was, by far, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I placed an order through Amazon on 12/15/08 for a gift (with expedited shipping, 2-6 days), which was processed through Caiman. On 12/18/08, I get an email that the package was shipped, but no tracking number is provided (Amazon always provides a tracking number, and most of its other merchants do too). From day one I have had nothing but problems with my system. They replaced more components because their technical support was impossible to reach. The lens was received but the wrong camera body was shipped and the filters were cracked (the filters were well packaged so the damage was before shipment). I got totally robbed from this company. They got me for $76.00 for two motherboards. Before I sent the money order they always replied to my emails within 1 day. But now since I sent the money order I've sent over 10 emails but have not got one reply from these robbers. I wish I would have read this review BEFORE I sent them money. I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me such as phone numbers, names, etc... I am putting a tracer on the money order that I sent them and I am going to file a small claims suit against them as soon as I find out who they bank with and who they are. This company is a fraud and do not use it. I order a lot from pricewatch and have found it to be a great place to comparison shop. I have never had a problem from them before, until now. I do agree with some of the other comments that pricewatch should be some what responsible for the company's that are allowed to advertise their products on their site. I should have smelled a rat, when this company did not provide any telephone number or address. The only way to communicate with Bridgeport Bankruptcy was through a rectangular square on their web site. Then, they would reply by sending a message to your e-mail address. They even warned that the e-mail address used in sending their messages to you would not be responded to - that only that rectangular square on web site would receive attention.
