After the first no show (between 8 am-12 noon) for equipment installation) the second appointment did prove to be successful. All equipment was installed (July 24, 2008), but the installer could not get the system to download my email accounts, etc. He told me that Wildblue's system was down, but all should be operational the next day. Intercargo charged our credit card and then, despite promises to pick up packages, failed to pick them up. After numerous telephone conversations and more promises the whole company started to look like a scam so we cancelled the payment with our credit card company. The company did not return calls and did not communicate with us in a responsible manner. Do business with these people at your own risk. Do not make cash payments. I bought a bike from performance in redwood, which entitled me to free tune ups for the life of the bike. From the very beginning the service I received was honorable. The windshield wipers are stuck in the off position. Using tem one day and turned them off, then stuck that way. Annoying! 500.00 to fix it! The passenger side window motor went out, 800.00 to fix that. The sliding door where the child car seat is( built in seat) not working properly. When I originally ordered the stair lift from Acorn to be installed in my father's house, I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks to be manufactured and installed. It took them 14 weeks to delivered and installed the unit. Meanwhile, they had required a 50% deposit of $6, 000 dollars upon ordering. On 06/10/08 I was scheduled to leave Syracuse, NY at 630AM for Cleveland, Ohio. The driver was a no-call, no-show for his job. The arrival time in Buffalo was 1130AM. I was inconvenienced having to wait in that horrendous section of Buffalo till 2PM. I arrived in Cleveland at 6PM. My biggest complaint is my baggage was checked in from Buffalo to Cleveland. Adam Internet provider advertises one of their products called NAKED ADAM by showing a overweight and dirty looking naked man. His private part obscured by a phone. The first issue is that the fax service faileed to send 3 individual faxes of a resume. I was told by Michael that the system administrator was working on the issue. I sent a 4th fax and received a confirmation of delivery. I did not for the first 3. That was when I contacted their live chat dept. Hughes not only is expensive with poor service, they are dishonest. I recently upgraded by service to a new router after being told it would make my lousy response time better. A couple of hundred dollars later I have a new satellite dish, new modem. They left the old satellite dish at the top of my driveway. First of all let me tell you that I called in advance before moving in to make sure the apartment was ready and they told me yes.
