I purchased a fishing pole from McGuckin Hardware on 4/4 but took it back the following day because it looked defective. I walked up to a cashier and showed her the fishing pole and she said it was ok to take it back to the sporting goods department and someone there would help me. Beware of this company! They mess up 75% of your orders, sell items on their store which are NOT in stock then notify you that they are back ordered (average wait time 3-4 weeks), send the wrong items, send out items using MEDIA MAIL when you choose USPS Priority, do not even follow their own policies, take average of 1 week to reply via email with NO PHONE NUMBER! I joined this site on 10/29/07 and cashed out $75 around 12/27/07 and another $75 around the beginning of February 08. In March, I wrote to ask when I would get my eCard and reload and was told I would be paid, just be patient. On 5/12/08, they canceled all cashouts and returned doubled points to all members accounts to be used in raffles. One year ago i took my boat in to get repaired they charged me 3250.00 cash only. I PAID IT. They said i had a 5 year warranty. I used to work for this company and it is a complete joke. They try to get you to believe that you will make good money, but in all reality you wont. I just had my tub/surround replaced by a real, old-fashioned local plumber. He used a real tub, Americast, and swanstone surrond: (It's 1/4 corian. solid as a rock). I love it. I bought the body shaper for 39.95 by the time the added on the free extras (haha) my bill claimed to 79.75. I received the garments in boxes that looked nice not worn. When I opened the box with the top nude shaper, I was surprised to find the smell of cat urine. It was in a sealed plastic bag, at this point I wished to return all products and not touch them. I bought a cam of Beauty Tone spray paint ath this store yesterday (July 16). A can of spray paint is supposed to cover 25sq feet. This one only covered about 6sq feet and the paint was over! I went back to the store, explained what happened and the store manager said that it was not possible for the can to have been used before, laughed at me in front of other customers, as if I was lying. Obviously, there was some problem with that can - it either had been previously used or there was some fabrication defect (it's a HomeHardware product). I went to the store to have my front brakes serviced and when I arrived for my appointment I wasn’t assisted for almost 30 minutes. The person at the service desk was very nice and accommodating. I hired the company to move my son's belongings from his apartment to my home about 15 miles away. There were approximately 17 medium-to-large items that needed to be moved. There were no fragile items packed like lamps and dishes which they claimed they did. That's a lie!
