my 10yr old oven will not turn off. I was cooking dinner turned the oven off. The heating element just kept getting hotter and hotter until we turned the breaker off. We let sit for an hour, turned the breaker back on, eveything was off on the stove and the element heated right back up very quickly so I unplugged it and its sitting on my back porch. I purchased a bedroom set (bed and night stand). They delivered almost 2 months late (blaming the snow)and did a no show on one scheduled delivery date. We recently purchased a Model 669 meat slicer. It has fatal flaws. The screws attaching the food carriage lack a slot to place a tool while removing the nuts. (for cleaning purposes) And... the screws attaching the food dellector & rear blade guide are sheet metal screws ... (Should be standard threads... they fasten into "White Metal" ... Zinc+Manganese?? I just got beaten up by the military police in a public bus heading to Sao Paolo. One military police officer held me down, twisting my neck, my shoulder, and my arm. Another police officer helped him. I screamed for help. Clearly, it was painful. They did not stop. They grabbed my camera and purposefully broke it and threw it on the floor. we paid 3000 to get the membership. it went down from 9500 to 3000 after 2 hours of negotiating... after getting the log in info, found out that the dates and cities we can go are so limited. for example, it is june 2010 now and we searched vacation in bali, indonesia. we only found 1 hotel option available in april 2011. other example - we searched hotels in tokyo, again only one option for the standard room (not the 4 start condo as they promised) for the same rate as we see at the hotel's website. what's the point of this vacation club??? total scam. hope they go out of business soon. read full review »
