Snow Rain September 20, 2009
I went to Ross Store at Gaithersburg, MD today. After shopping my clothing and went to check out. There were not many cutomers waiting to check out and 3 counters were opened at that time. So, I went to the line with fewer people waiting. After the person in fornt of me finished his payment, I was ready to put the clothes on the check out table. Then, I was told I need to go back to the line and wait there since every people who want to pay need to follow one by one. Sylvan Learning Center in Lincoln Village, Chicago, treats its employees poorly and takes advantage of its customers. Don’t even bother wasting your time. You work hard there, but for little to no money. They steal money from their employees by not providing them with paychecks for 6 months. You need to write tons of emails to them and leave messages on the voicemail in order to show them your interest in getting paycheck. Otherwise, they wouldn’t bother paying you, and they charge the students 90 dollars per hour. <br... read full review »

I ordered the Google kit from the internet. I waited for my software kit to arrive, never did. A couple of weeks later I received my credit card statement to find that I was billed $79.90 for the services to go with this kit. So, I call the phone number on the paper, they don't know what I am talking about. They don't know where my CD is and I am basically screwed out of the money. I have tried other phone numbers that I have seen advertising for the same Google kit and they have no idea what I am talking about. No kit, no income S.O.L.!!! Beware!! T. Ordolle September 20, 2009
In 11/05 - 02/08, we had a porch built on our home in NY by a contractor. It was incomplete and shoddily done. We complained to the local County Consumer Affairs and a decision was made to have the contractor repay us the money needed to complete the job & resolve shoddy work. The case was sent to the local County AG Office for collection in June 2008 and we are still awaiting resolution of the matter. The contractor cannot be found and it appears that the law has no teeth. It would be somewhat just to have this contractor exposed nationally for the scamp that he is. read full review »
