To Whom It May Concern: We recently purchased a mattress from Boscov that we feel is defective. It has a weak spot on one side and a ridge down the middle. We complained to customer service and a person came out to inspect the mattress. The person who came out to see it acknowledged the weak area, but Boscov claims it is within manufacturer's specs and refuses to exchange or replace it. I cannot sleep comfortably on the mattress and cannot believe that the ridge down the center and the irregularities in firmness across the surface are up to any standard of quality. They repeatedly asked me for my credit card number and then did nothing even a month later. They charged me a 10% fee for cancellation and would not let me return the product at the location. Kent RO system installed at my home is not functioning well. Candles are due for replacement. Watch display failed during 1 year-warranty. Sent it twice to Casio's designated western US repair service, once to them directly. Returned unrepaired all three times. My brother has been in the Marines for about 3 years and to make this short he attempted sucide about a month ago and nearly died and then again last night he attempted suicide and they just sent him home. In between attempts when he tried to get help his unit told him to "suck it up" and gave him hell when family tried to get him help. I phoned Sears on January 2 to schedule a repair on our washing machine. We purchased this machine in 2004 and purchased the warranty for an additional $200. WE are working in a Project site of Jindal power at Tamnar, Raigarh, India. We have taken about 41 connections from Reliance.Till date there is no payment pending against us.
