I recently received notice from my bank that my credit may have been in danger. They suggest I get my 3 free credit reports. I did this. Apparently there is an area where they sign you up for a free credit report service for 30 days. You must cancel before the 30 days are up. I received a charge of 11.95 on 9/26/07 and 10/26/07. I applied for Basephone & Mobile at Garia Outlet (KOLKATA) of Airtel. After long follow up & written complaint twice, my Basephone no.9903270713 got installed on 24.10.2007, whereas the Mobile SIM No. 9903993967 is yet to be activated. Upon enquiry from customer care, I was informed that my address is not traceable. If this was the case , how the basephone got installed. Anyone else fed up with this outsourcing of tech support to India? I canceled my Verizon cellphone, DSL , and home phone this year do to lack of tech support on a dsl problem. I spent a month trying to get it fixed. I had crossed lines, dsl disconnects every few minutes and the Indian (tech) told me that it was my computer. We ordered 2 milkshakes only. After 15 minutes we buzzed and asked how much longer. We were told "when it is your turn we will bring them". Obviously liquid drinks are put in the same category as food. Five more minutes and we left - went to McDonalds.
