upromise.com has been pushing its relationship with restaurant.com. After making a purchase of gift certificates (upromise.com promotes this heavily) I found that no gift certificates were ever provided. No web page popped up with gift certificates and no gift certificates are listed under my recent purchases. I googled "restaurant.com complaints" only to find that this has been a common issue. Worse, I have been trying to contact restaurant.com since last week. Their two phone numbers are constantly busy and they have not returned email inquiries. I bought a Motorola H5 bluethooth headset and what they sent me was a fake headset. I put in a dispute with paypal and these charlatans sent me an email to return the item for a full refund. The item has been returned to them for over a month now and they never sent my money back. I sent them several emails and I got no answer. My advice is that, even all the items are cheap on their site than anywhere else, do not buy anything from them because you will end up with a fake and worthless item. AT&T wireless services charges their customers calling 1800 "'s from their cell phone. I had to pay $400 monthly bill after AT&T taking over from Cingular. I hired Midwest Air Care to clean my Furnace Air Ducts, & in the process of blowing air down my west side cold air duct they cause a large cloud of dust to come up out of my south cold air vent, into my living room. Had problems with titan years ago and left to another agency, but went back because need automatic withdrawal and Titan had since added that service. I was going to go ahead with a mortgage with Home Finance of America until I found out the night of closing I needed to bring 2,000 to the table. When I called my loan officer Joe I asked him what this was all about he said he made a mistake on the good faith estimate. As luck would have it he made the same exact mistake on my brother's good faith estimate. Sounds to me like a business practice, not a mistake.
