I had a philips DVD player bought on 22/02/06. The Disk Eject switch stop working within 6 months. I took the DVD to local philips service centre which charged rs. 375/-. But the same problem occurred within 2 days. Again i took the DVD to the same Philips Service centre which is asking to replace Mpeg Card and asking for Rs. 1300/- the MRP of the DVD player is around rs. 2900/- and i am being asked to pay a little less than this amount within a year. Samsung have got an unblievably bad after sale service! I have been calling for the last 2 weeks for a corporate printer. I have been told in each of the 5 calls i made in the last 2 weeks, that due to high volume of calls there is no engineer available!!! This shows how bad samsng products are! An annual renewal fee was charged to my credit card without my permission. Upon discovering this charge I called Webroot and was referred to an email address (a real person could not be reached). I sent an email requesting a refund and a couple of days later I received a response saying that they do not issue refunds. The antivirus software that this company offers is ineffectual and my computer nearly crashed. Of course I understand I have the choice to switch to another company which I did. Do not get me wrong I served on active duty and was happy to join the Guard. I stayed for the long haul in anticipation of getting retirement benefits. After hearing that you get 50% of base pay, you just have to wait until age 60. That did not sound fair. But then it was explained that active duty guys get their 50% base pay as soon as they retire. I ordered a box set of DVD's from Discount Boxset in Shoreham via Google Checkout Accounts. I waited two weeks after Google confirmed that the order had been dispatched. When the goods had not been received I sent three e-mails via Google Accounts to ask for either my money back or for the goods to be sent.
