The company are publishing advertisements for businesses without their consent and also publishing ads that are inaccurate or do not contain information that has been specifically requested by the paying customers. They then try to charge for it when the advertisers are refusing to pay! they are also claiming to have copies of their books in every tesco store, wh smiths and other newsagents etc throughout the UK which is completely untrue. I purchased a Magellan Masstro 4040 GPS (refurbished) from Tigerdirect.com on Sept 11, 2008. For almost one year, this company has been charging my credit card a monthly fee of $19.95. My bank reverses the entry as long as I write a letter describing the unauthorized charge but the charges continue. I have not been able to find a way to cancel. On 10/06/08 a deduction of $31.85 was made from by Bank of America checking account. I spoke with a loan consultant named Tracey Adkins who told me I was approved for a $10, 000.00 loan. They sent me the loan documents by e-mail and gave me the fax number to send it to. Submitted my loan for modification on 12-07. Filled out all paperwork. Never heard from them. resubmitted in 4-08. They supposedly modified loan starting 8-01-08. Fedexed them the paperwork and sent a check for $1704.00. This amount was never applied to my account. My escrow payment went from $133.00 to $550.00. There is a phone sex staffing company called Papillion Agency and I've been there a few months now and it takes 3 WEEKS to get paid. 3 weeks because Marcie can't write out the checks too fast, I guess. The paycheck goes out 1 WEEK after the pay period, even though they tell you in the contract you get paid every 2 weeks. What-ever. We bought premium Stainmaster carpet from Home Depot in Woodland, California. We picked a dense carpet near the top of the price line. The carpet is absolutely worthless, and within several months showed more stains than the carpet it replaced had shown in 15 years! Common dirt gets ground in and causes stains. Stain removers which worked well on our old carpet don't work on it. Don't buy this carpet... it's terrible! $5, 000 down the drain. Perhaps they call it "Stainmaster" because it stains so easily!
