I purchased a Tempurpedic Mattress from Metro Mattress and developed a severe allergic reaction. They refused to allow me to talk to customer service, promised someone would get back to me several times and never did. If you are going to buy a very expensive mattress buy it from the parent company and not this chain. I have a Cub Cadet RZT 50 zero turn mower that I bought new in August 2006. I only use it to cut my own lawn. I have 3 acres of grass, no rocks, and no problems with my lawn. I noticed 2 weeks ago that I had "scalped" the grass when I cut it. I pulled out the owners manual and read about the deck adjustment. I tried that, but noticed when I went to measure distance from blade to ground on right side that the blade wobled. I took off the pully cover and low and behold, the deck itself has stress cracks on the right side, and one of the legs that bolt onto the deck had also broken off. I encountered endless problems with the use of Cabot Products to initially stain and then to remove the Cabot failed stain and refinish. Much correspondence with their tech department ensued. At the suggestion of the local paint store I requested the Cabot area tech look at the job for on site evaluation. Contractor's brother (Jonathon Partiel) claimed to have his own team. He subcontracted the work to another small company and charged 250% more, when the actual contractor (David Partiel) never stepped foot on my property. He even put a clause in the subcontractor's contract that says the sub-contractors are not allowed to speak to the clients! I tried to write a check for a purchase and the check was refused by Certegy. I have not written a hot check ever. I have an excellent credit rating. When I called Certegy they told me that there was nothing wrong with my writting a check, but if I would fill out a 3 or 4 page report this would be taken care of. Screw Certegy and AS. I requested a cancellation for alarm mornitoring services.The company stated that it will not cancel the services because the contract automaticly renew itself each year without notice.You must also send in a hand written letter 30 days before the contract date.As hard as things are financially companies should be more open to these matters.I know things are hard for companies as well but after being with the same company for years, there should not be a problem with canceling a service. read full review »

Bolotins Customer Service is absolutely horrible. All they care about is making the initial sale. I purchased a picture that had a defective frame. The salesperson indicated they could fix it. I paid my bill off in two installations. The total bill was approximately 1200.00. My second payment was received by Pier 1 on july 2, 2009. It was mailed before the due date . I was charged a $15.00 late fee in July. I did not receive a July statement in the mail. As far as I was concerned, the bill was paid in full. Buyer beware and stay away from Golden Bear Floors (owned by a man named John Bernal). Not only did his installers do a terrible job on our floor, but at every step of the process, he did exactly what we told him NOT to do. I told him not to cut the baseboards to fit in the AC registers. He did anyway. I told him not to caulk our stone fireplace against the floor. Again, he did it anyway. Called them out because Basement was backing up due to Roots in the Main line. Quoted 1.5Hr and 100Ft of Cleaning. Plumber found seperation in line and claimed had to stop that his equipment got stuck. Claimed if it got stuck would have to break ground to repair line. Left partialy cleared line. Basically would not complete the job unless Main was to be replaced. When I explained other plumbers provided quotes, they wanted to know who so they can report them for working on a Main line that was broken. When I explained it was to clear the line until I can fix, they indicated that I can be reported for not repairing the line to the city. read full review »

This is one of the most unorganized construction company that you can find. They keep changing materials for construction and charges extra on the customer. We bought an extra firm mattress in March of 2007. We got in touch with the store and told them we were developing an indent in the mattress. A technician came and looked at the mattress. He told us that the indents were only 1 inch and they have to be 1 and 1/2 inch deep before they will do anything. They also said we should not sit on the edge of the bed because the mattress are not made to take the pressure. I paid $1500 for the mattress and I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO SIT ON THE BED. They did a job for my mother about 15 years ago and here is what I am experiencing today to clean up THEIR MESS. They put an entire second level on the house along with a new bath tub on the main level and an upper level deck on the back. When they broke out the tile to put the new tub in on the main level, they replaced the tile with panel board. Of course now the walls are rotted and mildewed and Im ripping walls out of a bathroom. We hired Sunray Services on 5/29/08 to fix a leak in our kitchen from our upstairs bathroom. The plumber who gave the estimate, Ralph, told us that the entire ceiling had to be removed, along with the side wall of our kitchen.
