About May 2, when I had not received the product nor any notification that it had been shipped, I called their 800 number and actually got a live person (this was to prove to be VERY unusual). I was told that the product would ship on Monday, May 5.

I recently bought a grill for my husband for his birthday July 10th, the next day July 11th it caught fire the hose and couplings had leaks so the gas under the grill caught fire. It burnt and melted underneath the grill. We called Sears for repairs, the technican in a sears van and sears uniform came to our house the next day. He was suppose to paint a house. He left the plates off all the A/C vents, didn't finish a room, paint was not the right color and I believe he didn't buy the paint but "borrowed" it from his last job. He also took 6 months to do the job. Yes, 6 months which other contractors would finish in 6 days. Plummers Furniture
The leather on the sofa we purchased began splitting and shredding within a few months of delivery. We complained to the store and they told us to purchase a leather conditioner and all would be fine. But it only got worse. We again complained to Plummers and they told us we would need to contact the manufacturer, Actona Co. I emailed my complaint to Actona and they replied that Plummers was not a customer of theirs and I should go back to the retailer. This company's part and service department has the worst customer service i have ever seen in my life. I called to report a problem with my washing machine that was under warranty. The tech came out and said there were a couple parts that needed to be replaced. My husband and i bought a couch and a recliner at ashley when we moved into our 1st house less than 2 years ago and they have had to repair the same things 6 times already plus more keeps going wrong with the furniture. We have purchased a dryer at NE Appliances. My husband had picked it up and installed at our new home. The next day I've learnt that we were given the wrong unit, cheaper and with fewer futures. We contacted the store to make an exchange and we were told they can only do it if we, ourselves, bring the wrong unit back. My husband's working hours overlap store hours and we did not get a chance to tbring the dryer back. A Non-certified general contractor came to my home to install the system in July of 2006 and drilled two holes in my walls that I had to repair. They came back to install properly and I signed up for autopay through my checking acct and they made me sign a new agreement. We ordered a large amount of furniture at the end of February/beginning of March 2008. We still do not have all of our furniture in good condition; now at the end of July.
We are on couch #3 due to very obvious defects like a rip on the bottom of one and a weird lump on another. We just got our chaise lounge that was ordered 5 months ago and multiple buttons on the fabric are loose.

I paid this company $29, 000 to redo my kitchen. They installed the tile mural so that it slanted. They tried to correct it but were unable to. I had another tile installer redo it, at an additional cost of $700. We ordered some expensive furniture from Europebynet because their prices were reasonable. They promised to deliver in a short timeframe and their site had strong reviews. Boy were we fooled.

The company (Superior Restoration Inc) sent a guy who came and took a look at the water stain in our living room. Because of their incompetence in what needed to be done, my wife has made at least 50 different phone calls between Litehouse, OUPS and the Litehouse contracted installer. Earlier in the spring I bought 2 Adirondack chairs at Joanne Fabrics and they were very nice. A few weeks ago I bought 4 more Adirondack chairs (on sale) at the same Joanne Fabrics Store. The ice machine on my G.E. appliance stopped working. I called GE and set up an appointment to get it fixed. I was told that there would be a $99.99 trip fee and that parts would be extra. I had to wait from 8 to 5 p.m. so had to take a day off from work. I needed a new water heater to replace the one that went bad.
While this is a job that I can do myself, in view of my busy schedule, I decided to go with Home Depot to get the unit installed.
I went with a 50 gal electric heater priced at $349.00 and the installation charge quoted was $285.00. I felt that this was reasonable, considering that I needed the heater the same day and I was unable to get out of my busy schedule.
I was also told that if there are any code related improvements then I will have to pay extra.
