Received a Magic Chef wine cooler for a gift last year. All of the sudden it does not stay cold. Called Home Depot in Chandler, AZ and they referred me to Magic Chef. I do not have the receipt nor do the ones that purchased the cooler. Was told by Home Depot they could not help. Magic Chef said it is probably the compressor. The compressor on our 5 mo old Frigidaire by Electrolux Refridgerator failed - ruining all the food. The repair guy said they are now "MADE in MEXICO" junk" - very problematic. Premier Steel Building totally ripped me off on my Steel Building. They were supposed to allow me when I could take delivery. They then had a shipper try to deliver the building without proper notifying me. I was not even in town. So, of course the shipper had to take the building back. They then tried it again. I Recently took delivery of a $11, 568.62 order and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING came damaged, even the appliances were dented up, furniture was dented, scratched, peeled. I bought my bedroom furniture from Sunshine and paid a pretty good price including a new mattress set and delivery and setup. 2 couches that were to have had a Greek key accentwere ordered, but the accent was missing. I accepted the couches because Thomasville stated that with 7-10 days they would correct the problem. On June 3rd we had an A&E service tech come to our house to look at our Ice maker. It was no longer making ice. He stated it was a very common problem with Amana icemakers and he was surprised it lasted 8 years. We agreed to the replacement cost of $393 for parts & labor. Pool pump sizing is based on turning over the water in the pool once every 12 hours; if your pool is 7, 500 gallons and the pump is pumping 1, 500 GPH than you must run the pump at least 10 hours a day. This is the industy standard for above ground pools. Without proper chemical maintance the pump could pump 5, 000 GPH and your pool would still not be clean. We bought the Black series (king size), supposedly Top of the Line for $2500. After less than 3 months, there were two troughs in the mattress. Simmons states that up to a 2" dip (with no one on the mattress) is acceptable. It cannot be slept on with that much of a dip. We are not sleeping at all, wake up achy all over. My wife and I are both in good shape and definitely not overweight. We wrote letters to Simmons but got no where with it. I want to throw it to the curb! In early March I ordered several plants from this place expecting to receive them with 2-3 weeks...boy was I wrong. I did not receive the plants and trees until mid May which is past our planting season for a lot of what I had ordered here in the deep South. I contacted their customer service 5 times wanting to know when my plants would arrive and I never could get a definite answer. When I finally got them I had to return everything at my expense. I finally got my refund June 10th which is just shy of a month of when they received my return. I don't know if this is a consumer complaint, but I think people should know about this company. My husband worked for them, despite being warned by other installers. They retained a large sum of money from his check in what they call "escrow" to insure any work that he did for them, he was told that he would get the entire amount back since all of his work was excellent. I purchased a Sears Oasis washing machine November 2007, after 6 months the machine would not spin, the Sears repair man came out and fixed it. He stated that there were problems with this model. In June 2008 the machine would not spin, Sears said this is unrelated to the other incident and this would not be covered under the warranty. On June 5, 2005, I purchased a number of appliances from Airport Appliances. I decided to finance for 18 months. The issue: I was turned down for credit based on someone elses credit information.
