GLADSTONE HOMES
We purchased a $750,000 house from Gladstone Homes. I must say they are built like absolute S*** we had, our foundation leak 4 times 2 of which were under warrenty. Our sump pumps went out after a year, our walls cracked, from settling, our sink and master bath were not sealed properly and caused water damage. 3 Light fixtures not wired and had to be rewired post warrenty. HP -LPG gas
I have am consumer of HP-LPG gas in Chennai. The dealer is Savitha Gas agency, Adambakkam. I have 2 cylinders.
1) When a cyliner finishes & try to book a refilled cylinder through phone, the phone is either busy or they dont pick up. So we have to visit the dealer to book the gas.
2) They check the previous refilling date. If it is less than 21 days, they will not book.
3) After they book they will take 10-14 days to supply the cylinder. So the total days becomes 21+10 to 14.

After using the oven once on my DCS RGT-305 it stopped working. Customer service gave me a brief list of authorized appliance repair businesses in the SF Bay area. Of the two businesses that either answered the phone or returned my message, I got Bay Area Appliances to schedule a service call 5 days after I called them. The service tech who arrived determined in less than 5 minutes, without testing or disassembling anything that the oven thermostat needed to be replaced. May 11 2005, we purchased the best set of appliances Electrolux Home Products make, Frigidaires Pro Series, On Dec 15. Only 7 months later we had to repair the ice maker under warranty ( no problem) well it never got fixed till late Jan/06. On Feb 21/06,The repairman made another house call to repair the ice maker again, Well it never got fixed till Mar 29/06. I have a complaint about workers making appointments to do work in your home & not keeping them. Most people have to take off from work to be there, then they don't show. I'm having such problem. I went with a retail store for kitchen tile to avoid such a pitfall. However it happened to me too. The job started November 12, to be finished (except for around the kitchen cabinets) in 4 days. After numerous delays they finished Nov 21. I had to take off an additional 4 days because of no shows.

Maytag Quiet Series 300 / Dishwasher
Bought Maytag Quiet Series 300 at Home Depot. Worked okay (takes MUCH more time to go through the cycle than others I've had) but in the past 2 months it hasn't been washing all the dishes. The dishes on top and bottom rack in the FRONT are not clean. The back seems to be clean. I've tried everything, short of calling a repair man. Cuisinart / Electric Can Opener
I bought this more expensive electric can opener only about a month ago and now I just want to give it away to some unsuspecting person on Freecycle. It's a piece of garbage that can't open a can in just one cut. Try ten cuts and you may get the can opened enough to pry into it and scoop out the contents. It can't grab the can. The lever with the blade keeps falling off and you have to hold the lever 'just right' to get it to contact the slippery black button switch that runs the motor.

BEWARE!!! They overcharged my son's account by several hundred dollars. My son made the mistake of paying the bills and now they ignore him when he asks for a refund. I bought a ONIDA 21” Black TV on Jan 2005, the warranty period was 1 year. Till 1 years there is no problem in the TV. After that it has some repair, I entered into AMC with ADONIS Electronics pvt. Ltd, in Chennai that is an authorized service center for ONIDA. The AMC cost for 5 years was Rs. 2300, whereas the TV cost was Rs. 10,500 (which is almost 1/4th of the TV cost)

I rented a stackable washer and dryer from Azuma a little over six months ago because of a refural from my appartment manager. At first everything thing was ok the unit was not new by any means and it didnt work like it should but i really didnt expect much concidering the amount i was paying. I was never informed that Ashley Furniture Store had a NO RETURN/REFUND POLICY. The Sale Rep should inform the customers about the return/refund policy. I bought a new Khov house last year. Before my warranty expired Oct 30/07, I called Whirpool to get service for my wall ovens, that I couldn't use them because there was a "beep" all the time. We purchased $4000.00 worth of Georgia Pacific Lumber from July to September for a Deck project. My contractor used a laser level and installed all the lumber properly (this was not his first deck to build!) he knew what he was doing, at the half way point he realized the lumber was not uniform, one piece might be 7 1/2" wide and the next was 7 3/4" wide. My husband and I bought a Cool Mattress from a local store and found out after opening the packaging that it has a lump of coils in the center of the bed and does nothing about maintaining a cool surface like they promised. I purchased a $600 commercial vacuum for my home use. The belt has come off so many times I lost count. I have spent over $250 for repairs and tune ups. I had booked the flat with Ittina Abha, but after reading the negative reviews I decided to take a step back, and cancelled my booking. During booking I paid 25,000, and was told it is 100% refundable. I had requested for cancellation on 18 Sep 2007, and till date I had not recieved any cheque or draft (10-Dec-2007). Ittina is really one of the worst group, please stay away from him. One of my friend got only 75% of the booking amount, I am not sure how much I will get. But I am planning to take a legal route if they don't give the 100% of my amoount.

If you buy a dishwasher and are expecting Home Depot to install it know that the contractors are not licensed plumbers. If you have PVC piping or the connectivity is not straightforward the delivery people will not install it. If you are this category and insist on purchasing a dishwasher from Home Depot, make sure you can either install it yourself or have a licensed plumber at hand. Next best thing to do is buy the dishwasher from Sears, they send licensed plumbers to do the installation. read full review »

I have not had a good nights sleep in over a year! This was the most costly mattress I have ever purchased and definitly the most uncomfortable. I like my side firm, my husband likes his side soft. My problem is that because of this difference, I spend the entire night trying to resist rolling down to his side of the bed. I feel like I am sleeping on the side of a hill all night.
